You must order smaller ie; at least 2 to 3 sz smaller than your average street shoe sz.

If you order a normal size (not narrow or wide) it comes as a size C. I guess they think this is a proper medium width.

but when I put the shoes on, it was very clear that I needed to order an extra pair in a 1/2 size smaller for the smaller foot.

when they say "true to size" they mean BLOCH'S sizing, NOT street shoe sizing!

My bad, when I read they run "true to size" and that I should order my "usual size," I incorrectly inferred they meant my street shoe size (37 - in American sizes, I am too big for a 6.5 and not quite a 7 - the European 37 fits me better for whatever reason.

But this pair I ordered on my incorrect assumption that sizing had been changed to be consistent with American shoe sizes must go back.

I wear size 7 ½ and I first tried 5 ½ and they were much too small.

It is true I had to return the first pair.

I had to return these at first because the width was problematic.

They strangled my little toe and I felt pressure and had to return them.

The elastics do come sewn on only one end so you will have to do the other side yourself - I measured the straps (crossed-over X) to a place on the sides where the slippers gape the most when I flex my feet and after the elastics are drawn.

Best Fitting Ballet Shoes
This is my daughter's favorite brand and style of ballet shoes.

I use these shoes for some ballet classes and are great.

Once they shipped the C width (Which is medium width in Bloch) I felt great relief.

Im a sz 7 & ordered a narrow 5, great fit for me.

They fit her narrow feet very well and she feels very secure when dancing because of the elastic x-straps.

The slipper will look and fit better too.

I have worn this slipper for dance for at least two decades, and it is by far my most preferred flat slipper.

With the 5B, the slipper is completely filled by my foot, as it should be.

These appear very cheaply made as in the sole on inside and outside have stitching that looks like it’s going to come apart after a few wears.

but a toddler cannot tie the elastic bow- they live for untying it - very frustrating-

Only thing is these run super small, I usually wear a 6.5-7 and had to buy a size 8.

but it was too small so you should size up from your normal size.


I would size up in these shoes they run tight and small.

Once I have a small tear in the toe I can only get about two weeks out of the shoe.

but size up a size and a half to be safe!

i wear a 7.5 street size and 8.5 fits tightly, will probably get a 9 next time

I wish capezio accommodated larger shoe sizes and more skin tones considering how popular a brand it is.

Once the hole gets to be the size of a pencil eraser it ends up gaping open pretty quickly.

but I usually wear a 10 so I got an 11 and its still tight around the toe area

These elastics were *not* pre-sewn in the correct position .

They’re well made and perfect for my ballet classes.

They run about a size small compared to Liberts.

Spent $28 on them to finally get them and they're only a few mm bigger than the one size smaller liberts which caused me to have to buy another pair within a month.

The Velcro makes them so easy to put on & we don’t have to struggle like other families do when it is time for the shoe change from ballet to tap.
