These are a great option for a wide toe box, flexible soles shoe that doesn’t break the bank.

A comfortable pair of slippers for an economical price
After searching multiple stores for a pair of slippers and finding both limited selection and high prices, I decided to order a pair from Amazon.

but have proven to be just as, ifnot more comfortable than slippers, a lot more expensive.

The shoes come with these cheap bungee cord laces with a plastic clamping mechanism to tighten/loosen.

The clamps on my laces broke on both shoes within about 10 seconds.

I have to pull a lot on the elastic straps for the shoe to fit snuggly.

The straps are thin and afraid I will break them soon.

Also, the shoes have very thin soles so if you slap your feet on the ground like a duck you're gonna feel it a lot more.

The insoles are a little worn thin at the ball of the foot

EDIT: After wearing these shoes daily for a little over a month, I suspect that this insole has worn, and the toes of the shoes are now extremely uncomfortable.

It feels like I'm walking on a ridge of some kind, like maybe the steel toe is just tucked under my toes with very little padding, bulging up, and poking into my toes.

The soles are not very thick compared to other safety shoes, and it doesn’t take much water depth for your feet and socks to become wet.

Also the thin soles are not good to prevent puncture, a nail could go right through the soles.

Also walking on gravel you feel the sharper rocks poke in to the bottom of your foot.

The soles are slippery when walking on slick concrete covered in dust.

I wear 11.5's and ordered 12s A little narrow for my wife feet near the steel toe.

They are slippery if you step on some water on the floor.

These are not good shoes when working in areas with standing water on the floor.

These shoes are light and cool on your feet.

And they are as light weight as my running shoes and padded and flexible beyond what I expected.

When I go out on events, I like to dial up on my gear and really enjoy jazzing up to impress others and wow the ladies*winks*.

Fits perfectly in regular shoe size, looks nice and is extremely light.

I will not be buying again nor would I recommend these boots.

This resulted in 5-10 small pieces of loose plastic (about the size of a grain of rice) inside each boot all day.

The first time I wore these boots, I took my motorcycle to work and she shifter pushed through the boot.

I have since easily split the toe of the boots under normal use.

I would recommend not buying these boots for the shop.

Overall build quality of the boot is poor I had loose stitches on the sides right out of the box and the soles felt uneven.

Would not recommend for any kind of work inviroment or heavy use and I have had better luck with 100$ walmart boots.

On the one pair, the front area under your foot on the left boot was very warped inside, and the boots were way to tight up/down when the insole was put in.

Id recommend other boots such as Bates, Rothco, and Yevhev.

After a month of duty, the plastic in the rear of the heel began to break down into small pieces and wore through the interior fabric of the heel area.

It’s like walking around with little pieces of gravel in the boots…not painful, just extremely annoying and it wears out the heels of my socks.

I wore them anyway and about 5 weeks later the soles are falling off, the composite toes are loose, and the stitching is disintegrating.

I’ve had this issue in the past and usually after a brief wear time have sore feet and blisters where the steel rubs my feet.

Now I have a 1inch hole right at the base of the laces.

On the other pair, the rear heel backing area was very uncomfortable and one of the provided insoles was about 2 sizes smaller than the other insole despite both saying they were the same size.

I sent it back and ordered 8.5 NONE STEEL TOE.


Ordered 2 pairs, had to return them both.

After about 3 months the heel material, like many others, fell apart and ripped through.

I guess it's pretty cool to have a steel towel which ultimately will fail you.

Originally boots were extremely comfortable and fit my purpose for safety-toed boots for work.

I ended up removing all the material and the boots were still comfortable.

I'm on my feet 8 to 12 hours a day and these are very comfortable boots.

Heel box is too tight, rubber is uncomfortable, glue couldn’t handle 1st hiking.

I have a heel spur and the cup is too rigid and rubs up against it.

but the opening was too small and inflexible.

Impossible to get on
I bought these for my son and they are impossible for him to get on.

but that just kind of adds to their "cool" factor.

The sole is more flexible, one's steps are quieter, and the tread has more traction than my previous pairs, without sacrificing the ability to feel the ground under foot.

Very high quality
I suffered from severe plantar fasciitis for decades, and being very overweight I was convinced that I just needed more cushioning between the soles of my feet and the ground.

but a high quality fabric mesh with protective and attractive nubbins around the base of the foot.

Otherwise I would not dissuade anyone from trying these if they want that minimalist barefoot feel.

If you have made the decision to move to barefoot minimalist shoes and want a superior, tough shoe with good traction, this is an excellent choice.
