Great Leather Boot
I should say that I only wear these/play once a week.

If you prefer the touch on the ball from a leather boot, these are good.

but we're planning that they'll be our go to comfortable pair while he wears in a new set so he's always ready for a game.

These fit well and were comfortable right out of the box, and I played in them right away.

They are holding up beautifully and are still incredibly comfortable!

I am happy with the width, length, overall fit and feel on the ball.

Hierro V7 are my new favorites and I have tried numerous Adidas, Saucony, Merrill, North Face, and Scarpa trail runners and hikers the last few months.

For my wide feet they work great and don't have weird pressure points or pinch points in the foot bed or upper which is honestly hard to find in a lot of trail runners, New Balance is just the best option if your whole foot is wide and flat.

Thanks New Balance for making this a great looking and quite therapeutic recovery shoe.

These Hierros do not feel tall to me—great height/stack/drop that reminds me of my fave NB trail runners from 20 years ago.

My husband wears  these shoes every day, all day, until he gets home and/or when he's not wearing his  memory from Adidas flip-flops.

I have never been disappointed by New Balance and this is no exception.

I am so happy I purchased these for my husband and when he needs a new pair, I will be purchasing new balance for him again, for good!

The perfect shoe for the perfect man
I was literally driving myself crazy shopping for a surprise gift for my husband.

even though it was a Sunday, I was very happy to give these to my husband.

My husband  tried them on and they fit perfectly.

I've been wearing this type off sneaker for decades and have always got good service life from them.

Very hapoy with this 'Daddy shoe' - it is like wearing a high end SUV on your feet at times.Solid, turns well and look good.

Second, this is an upgraded version and extra cushioning will obviously have its benefits especially for all day, every day wear.

Got these shoes because they were a great deal at the time.

The main issue is that the shoe causes overpronation when running.

Soles are damp dirt magnets
I am not happy that this tread seems to have been designed to capture any damp dirt it comes in contact with and will not let go, slowly leaking out everywhere one walks.

yeah the shoe sole is a bit not fitting it isn't at a firm comfort for long usage i think its too thick or it might be cutting into your footsa natural comfort i use a old sole from a nike flex.

Anyway, I wish it had a little more "bounce" or even a combination of the two: "Bounce" & "Boost" or "Ultra-Boost".

I have tried the NB "Foam" which for me lost functionality within a 100 km.

Being able to wear my "favorite" NB on one foot and the Adidas on the other, I was very surprised to find the better cushioning qualities in the Adidas.

The Adidas has a shield around the heel which, for me, feels snug.

but the Adidas has a fabric that stretches and creates enough room for my wide forefoot.

I was very happy with the New Balance 890v5 and previous versions.

They are comfortable, fit true to size, and overall a decent pair of shoes.

I like the shoes: comfortable, cheaper than other companies with similar tech (foam) and now of course, made partially from ocean waste.

It is excellent compared to other shoes in similar price range such as design and fit.

There was nothing in the box to explain how to loosen the boa--had to Google it.

Mine came in a repackaged box and was clearly worn to the point they didn't bother to clean out the mud in the spikes.

These are the most comfortable pair of Adidas I have tried on.

I have a pair of NB shoes for walking with the similar sock fit and wished they had a shoe like that for golf.. this is it.. if I wasn't convinced my first round with them, I was when we had cart path round only during a brutal hot day in central florida.

It was stiff walking 20 miles walking on concrete until the shoes were broken in.

The general consensus is that these shoes are stiff, and after 6 months of use, I can attest to that.

In addition to the stiff toe box, the heel is a MAJOR gripe of mine.

The general construction of these shoes is that they are VERY tough and stiff,

You will definitely have to plan out shorter sessions in them at first until you have them broken in, and even after that they are pretty stiff.

Looked cool, like some of the other reviews said, the toe box in these are way too narrow.

For me, the toe box is just a little too narrow.

Don't expect to put them on and wear them all day right out of the box.

I never need to wear wide shoes, yet this squeezes both sides of the end of your foot almost like a pointy high heel or something.

My first 3.5 mile short hike in these left both my big toes sore on the insides, and I ended up with a one inch blister on the inside of my left heel!

but you might need to jump through some hoops to avoid rubbing, especially in the heel area.

The heel of the shoe does not capture the heel of my foot AT ALL.

Each step I take, my heel is pulling up out of the bottom of the shoe, so imagine taking 10,000 steps in these.

ADIDAS did an outstanding job making these, so if you don't mind heavy shoes that can cause mild discomfort after wearing them, they will be one of the best outdoor shoes you can own.

In warm and dry weather, an old pair of New Balance sneakers has done the job quite well.

Water, mud, dirt, anything that can cause discomfort to your feet and socks, they will not become a factor and will keep you absolutely dry, provided you don't intentionally get them wet.

I hike 10-12 miles of wooded trails each week.

The tread on these tires — ahem, shoes — is great for damp and wet soil, gravel, etc.

All in all: this is a very well made, stylish shoe with a great tread pattern and excellent water resistance,

They are rugged, COMPLETELY WATERPROOF, and I have no concerns at all about walking through any kind of mushy terrain in the early springtime when the ground is soft and muddy.

I bought these specifically because of the waterproof aspect of them.

Tread is unmatched, and they look and feel great, have 3 pair different colors, last long time, gor-tex very durable

Rugged, durable, and reliable at the cost of comfort.

That shouldn't scare you if you're looking for the most durable hiking shoes that can stand up to whatever mother nature throws at your feet!

I am a solid size 12 and with the provided insole (a thin liner), these allow for a little bit of toe movement and a lot of heel movement.

I've used these for off-trail hiking, disc golfing, fishing, and they are absolutely resilient, and still going strong.

No problems whatsoever, hiking hundreds of miles this year.
