If I had tried them on in a bricks and mortar store I probably would not have purchased them because the arch is slightly off for me,

I bought my regular size, 10.5, and they were about a foot too short, so I ordered a replacement pair in 11.5.

To remedy this, I intend to buy some insole pads for the ball of my foot, to tighten up the slippers.

In addition, you cannot machine wash these.

You can only spot wash them, per instructions, so if you were expecting to wear them without socks, you better make sure your feet are clean at all times to keep the slippers from getting smelly and dirty.

Since the soles are more elevated than regular slippers, the extra width of the slippers at this size (11.5) plus the distance from the floor to the top of the insole tends to cause the shoe to turn inward and twist off my feet, which could lead to a twisted ankle if I am not careful.

but now the slippers are too wide for my feet and I have to wear socks with them at all times, or I tend to fall out of them, which has proven a bit dangerous.

I have been wearing Alegria shoes forever.

Love the Alegria fit so I thought I would give them a try.

They are very well made I have several pair of Algeria shoes and love them no break in time just put on and go.

but they are better now that they are broken in a bit.

I needed a slipper that would give me some arch support while standing for hours on a hard kitchen floor (especially over the holidays), and after a couple days getting them "broken in" these have been perfect!

I am pleased these do have arch supports, and they are very sturdy and do wonders for keeping my feet from being sore, so I am willing to overlook the small complaints and am confident in rating these a bit higher than I normally would.

It's a struggle for a woman my shoe size and with a more narrow foot to find any pair of slippers that actually fit and offer comfort, so I am generally pleased with these.

Needless to say, wearing boots often causes great pain.

Well worth the price, and I know they’ll last a very long time, as with all Alegria footwear.

Leather is not stiff and I don’t anticipate any break-in period.

They are more comfortable than I could hope for.

Not with these incredibly gorgeous and comfy boots!

Best Boots Ever
These are the most comfortable boots--maybe even the most comfortable footwear--that I've ever owned (including athletic shoes!).

They are just as cute as they are comfortable, and can be dressed up or down.

Comfort and great with black pants
They are super cute (I bought the doll pattern) and I like to wear black so these boots give a pop to my outfits.

I have bunions on both feet, and these still fit without looking even slightly orthopedic.

If you are normally a 10, they will likely be too small, as they fit my 9.5 feet exactly.

Alegria Charlette

No insoles
I bought these for a "too good to be true" price here in Amazon Warehouse.

but not great enough to buy a $40 pair of insoles.

Maybe there was a problem with the padding inside.

For those of us who have larger calf muscles this product was very tight at the top when fully zipped up.

stretchy

even though it is very tight because I am hoping it will stretch a little due to the fact it is leather and not Pleather.

I am slightly skeptical about the trim, specifically the strap.

While this looks like it has a roomy toe box, it's not.

but find much comfort wearing Alegria footwear.

Love the comfort factor of Alegria does, do I decided to give in and order these boots.

Wore them grocery shopping with no break in period needed.

They are beautiful boots, so before wearing them I treated them with Bicks leather conditioner to keep them looking new and to waterproof.

I could wear these daily they are so comfy.

Women's Clog Loafer

This pair has a seam on the inside in the top of the foot that rubbed my foot raw within 1 hour of wearing them.

I ended up having to put something in the back and wear thicker socks to keep from sliding.

Well I've been wearing them for a few months now and they still hurt my feet.

but when I walk my heel comes completely out.

I was having lots of pain in the arch and heel of my feet, and I had to make a change with my shoes.

There was no black showing, so I had to return them.

I do like the Alegria shoe because it is comfortable

but once they’re broken in, they’re great.

They make a 12 hour workday a lot more comfortable!

I would like to first start off by saying the shoe is very comfortable after you walk in it for a while.

They fit just right and keeps my legs from aching.

After working 12hr shifts in the ER, my feet don't ache.

These were perfect for my sore, achy feet.

but they do not ache that day or the following day like they had been in the past.

but I cannot say as of yet if this is going to hurt my feet but they do look very stylish and they do have some flexibility when you're walking so they're not really a very hard shoe.

I ordered these on a whim, and it was such a great decision.

Great buy for wide feet, high arches, and busy nurses!
