Best Running Shoes For Me
NB 1080s are quite possibly the only running shoes I’ll ever purchase (though I’ve thought a lot about Altra) I have wide feet & the 2E sizing has a perfectly sized toe box for me.

Great alternative to laces
I paid through the nose at a New Balance store for the laced version of this shoe.

Only concern is I wore it for a 4 day trip with lot of city walking and the bottom is already smooth - finer patterns almost all gone already.

but not sure about durability
these fit like a glove and the top is flexible versus rigid like the Altra ones.

I loved these shoes they are comfortable I bought them because these are my 2nd pair of New Balance

but a different style and I got a lot of compliments and comfortable and I rotate my shoes because I’m a CNA and I’m on my feet all day so thank you Amazon and New Balance keep making great shoes for me and I’m very picky.

Hiking walking supportive
Amazing love them so supportive and will be great for the gym or trails especially in colder weather because they’re so cushy and warm.

They are very warm so if your feet tend to sweat you may want to wear socks that accommodate this, otherwise, great shoe!

Extremely comfortable for those long hikes, walks, runs especially on trails.

Sour comfortable and I love the fresh foam heel cushioning.

I can’t believe the price of these as well and bought 2 pairs.

Thin material
I have wider feet and maybe would suggest ordering a 1/2 size up.

I bought a pair in Feb 23’ and July 23 and within a few months they both started to get holes on top.

Order at least a half size up
I bought these shoes for a trip to Rome.

uncomfortable

While everything else fit well, my big toe was right at the end and I know it would be uncomfortable after a lot of walking.

The other thing is the laces are a pain to cinch up (whatever they are made of) and the tongue is uncomfortable.

I had to take out the liner inside and lace them further down due to the swelling in my feet from the plantar fasciosis.

The only thing I would say is get them a half to a full size bigger.

When I previously tried some New Balance 880s, I LOVED the amount of cushion and support, so a blend of the two would be nice!

They are comfortable and great for wider feet.

These shoes are noticeably better on my toes due to the purposefully larger toe box.

I have wide feet and the box toe style is wonderful for me.

The stitching on the side of the midfoot of the shoe tore after about a month or two of wear.

These are garbage
Compared to the ventures these shoes are horrible.

Excellent for Runners with Wide Forefoot and Narrow Midfoot
If you have a wide forefoot and a narrow midfoot, and/or are searching for something with an Altra fit with better midfoot lockdown, this is the best daily trainer you can buy.

I would still recommend these shoes to someone seeking the unique Topo fit as an alternative to the more established brands (e.g., NB Rebel FuelCell v3), or as an alternative to Altra's daily trainers (e.g., Escalante 3).

Great shoes so far
They fit as expected, and run true to size for my 10 1/2 sized feet.

I find the toe box just the right size- roomy
