You cant even replace the vionic insert with a custom orthodic insert because there isn't enough room in the shoe- you'd have to size up at least 1 or 2 sizes and even then the shoe is so flimsy it would be like putting your custom insert into a soleless moccasin.

I also have very high arches and Vionics have excellent arch support.

Perfect comfort & support for my no arch flat feet , loved  the zipper for the easy on/off.I  have tried others from Vionics  that didn't work for me ,

I liked the zipper because you can just unzip and zip with no need to tie laces! !

Seriously, all trainers should have a heavy duty zip like these do.

From the moment I walked in them they were comfortable.

They are molded very well to my foot and seem to have extra room in the toe area which is really comfy.

I do find these to lack cushioning in the insole, runs a half size large, and rubs my ankle bone.

These are not available in a smaller size so I might consider keeping and getting moleskin tape for the ankle and a insert for cushioning.

The design of the lacing feels like it will tear out the lacing loops, and it's difficult to tighten the laces.

A person cannot tighten the laces enough for it to provide the support to be a basketball shoe.

Bought a pair of black ones that don't have the sock like top and loved them for years.

I love this particular model of shoe so much, that I bought 2 more pairs in different colorways.
