The waterproofing is great and you can easily just wipe off dirt.

Safety is the number one concern at her construction site, so the fact that this product is waterproof, made with rubber soles, slip resistant, and designed with electrical hazards in mind is extremely important.

The waterproofing is superb, and even in slick mud they have good traction.

The only thing that bothered me is them not coming in an actual Keen box, and it appeared as if someone took the insoles and returned them, they replaced the insoles with ones that aren’t quite right for the shoe (possibly 8.5 wide insoles put in regular 8.5 boots).

Update: I returned the boots I purchased, they were just too bulky for my liking.

but these boots fit super small and the toe space is minimal ,  if you wear orthotics or want to add an insole you would almost have to size up a full size not to sure what keen did there but these are not a 13d size!

but maybe need to step up a full size to be more comfortable?

but the first pair I had wore a hole in the leather and my feet still stayed dry!?!

However, the waterproofing has failed me and the soles are starting to peel apart a bit.

They have a bit more room in the toe box, and the arch support feels much nicer to me than the Pittsburgh, which I eventually replaced with some anatomical insoles.

First I have been wearing keen Philadelphia 6 inch work boots for the last 5 years which in my opinion are probably the best boots I have ever worn

they were the most comfortable pair of all day work boots I’ve ever owned!

I will say I have purchased a second pair of Keen work boots, this pair features seam construction.

I like the fact that I got American made boots at a decent price.

I work construction, both finished sites and full on construction sites, and I liked how these boots were both tough for the full on sites, and then cleaned up for the finished office work.

but I was suffering from Plantar Faciitis and these boots were recommended and did a great job in that respect. In my opinion, (and of course I could be wrong.  )

I’ve owned many pairs of boots (all brands) in my 17+ years of working construction, and not one pair has split this way.

I have been using a pair of Keen Pittsburgh's for the last year and a half as an electrician, and they have been fantastic.

These boots feel more similar to Pittsburghs than any other Keen IMO, and better.

Overall fantastic, please KEEN keep making these and I will keep buying them.

Not only did these boots fit perfectly out of the box, they were insanely comfortable.

The shoestring’s are subpar

The dowm side is the laces the laces that come one these are horrible stretchy strings that don't stay.

The shoes laces are not durable whatsoever so the best thing to do is to try and get the exact size for your foot so tightening them is not needed or try finding better shoelaces that suit you.
