SIZING: As other reviewers have mentioned the sizes do run a little big so order about a half size down from what you normally wear.

I originally ordered a 9.5W and it was a bit too long,

I wear a size 10 normally and I ordered a 9 1/2 wide in these Heritage boots, (the wide because of high arches) fat baby short boots 9 1/2 and Ariat clogs 9 1/2 all from Amazon and I love all of them.

I would and will purchase more Ariat brand footwear in the future.

These are very good boots.

But I found the 9 1/2 c to be the best fit wearing boot socks.

Although these boots fit that description,  I have been impressed by how they have performed under working conditions.

The boots were comfortable and flexible from day one.

but they are super, super comfortable, and I have very difficult feet to fit :-) I normally wear a 9 1/2 wide, and that is what I am wearing in these boots.

I love the distressed look and the softness of these boots.

Traditional (r) toe for stirrup fit,  non-slip sole for wet concrete,  and a shaft height that would protect my legs from brush on the trail.

but the width was good so I exchanged them for a 9W and they fit great!

I've been looking for boots that will be comfortable and hold up to my construction work.

If the E width had been available, I might have been a bit more comfortable with those.

As a result, walking means that the shoe is flopping about on your foot and that's not conducive to comfort or steady walking!

In other words, even with the laces pulled to their maximum tightness, my foot had too much extra room on top.

I had my previous Ariat Terrains for 7 years and they held up very well with riding and ranch activities.

I have had these boots for about a year and they have held up so well.

I wanted these boots for the main purpose of finding something that wouldn’t make my feet/legs hurt if I’m gonna be standing for long hours, and I’m glad I got them.

Highlights: - these boots give just the right space for my toes, so they don’t feel cramped.

- it’s spacious enough that my feet slip in easily - no need to break these boots in.

Love the fit these boots feel like I’ve worn them for years.

They are SO comfortable just like my mules.

So comfortable and they go with everything.

I have flat feet and my arches feel really supported and because of that my feet feel comfortable all day in these.

I believe once these are broken in they will be very comfortable shoes.

So I sent those back and went to an 11.5W and they're still a bit large; I'm having to wear extra thick socks to keep myself from sliding around.

but too much heel slip and toes are too far back from the end of the boot.

I have several different pairs of Ariat boots all bought online and they're all true to size.

The arch support is good and my feet aren't tired at the end of a day; the boots aren't too heavy and the mesh panels on the shaft help with ventilation when wearing lighter weight pants.

but I order true to my normal shoe size rather than what I usually get in a boot and wow, for just right.

They have a "pre-worn" look to them which is nice; I really don't like the "glowing clean" look of some suede boots when they're new.

These boots arrived quickly and were in new condition. Thanks!

Leather is extremely stiff on heel until broke in.

This is my second pair and the leather quality is no comparison to the first pair.

leather had just broken in too and they were feeling like slippers, disappointing.

first set of boots the stitching below the bottom lace near the toe area separated & toe box inner plastic "composite toe" cracked, cut itself through the inner fabric lining above the toes and began sharply poking my toes.

These are my first pair of Danners I’ve had a pair of probably every good boot brand out there (ariat,chips,redwing,twisted x, Carolina,timberland,Justin’s,throgoods) these are very comfortable, 2 12 hour days to break in and decently priced for the quality, plus they are made in America, would definitely purchase again, if your between sizes I’d probably got 1/2 size smaller as the leather does stretch out as they break in

Stiff leather
The boots were as expected looks fit all is good,

However I feel that the Danner Moc toes are much more comfortable because the toe platform is wider.

They were not uncomfortable out of the box,

however, they break in to be more comfortable as they are worn.

A 9EE fits prefect and the foot bed is very comfortable.

I would recommended these over the redwings, fit, price and durability.
