I have very wide feet and large ankles and legs due to swelling, and the top of the ankle part of the boot is very stiff and needs time to break in and make it less rigid.

Part of the reason for this is that they do run a bit large in size,

At the beginning it was digging in to my leg at times, Eventually with wearing longer socks to protect my leg more and with more wear the opening softened up a bit and wasnt uncomfortable any more.

At over 75, living on my horse ranch in Texas, these are even easier & quicker to put on just to feed than my tall cowboy Ariat work boots that I love.

That being said, they still look good, and they do not really show wear and tear either, so they are very well made.

I've been wearing them for about a month now with zero wear and tear issues.

I get steel toe boots and I can take them on and off easy.

They are very comfortable on the feet, with plenty of room for you to wiggle your toes and such.

They are easy to slip on and off and protect your feet very well while wearing them.

As far as comfort, they're acceptable as long as I'm wearing thick socks - which I tend to do anyway.

These have stretched out on me a bit, so I wish I would have tried a size 8.

but keep in mind, the leather will stretch, especially on the bridge where it is the tightest.

They are not waterproof, due to the seams and I have added waterproofing to them which helped slightly.

I usually wear a size 8, and have purchased them in an 8 and they always felt a little large.

I have tried many boots by different brands - most of them more expensive.

I tried on Durango boots at a store & found the correct size.

I loved my Durango boots so much my husband wanted a pair.

I can wear these for 16 hours and my feet still feel good - better than my sneakers.

she wore them to her work place  every body loved them  ,.,even people on the street gave her complements,., I'm goin to get my grand daughter  the same boots ,. .

but I also wear them when going out and get lots of compliments.

Regardless, these fit my orthotics, and I wear them for very long periods of time working and playing.

They are really well made and extremely comfortable.

I like the rubber soles,  They are comfortable boots.

Wish there was a little bit more cushioning in the souls.

After 6-8 months we replaced the insoles (w the same ones) wish the mesh held up a little better than it did,

I usually wear a 10.5 D and I couldn't even get my foot into the boot.

But the boot became almost too loose-fitting, then after another two weeks the other boot finally was comfortable enough to wear, It got so bad that by the end of my 12 hr shift I could barely walk my feet were hurting so bad.

The last pair of Ariat Work Boots I had with he similar western style were great boots that lasted almost 2 years.

The build quality seems to be on par with ariat boots.
