Like all Asics shoes, this model is well-made and fits like a glove.

Since then, I have owned 4 pair of Asics and loved them all.

As with all Asics I've had, these fit true to size.

Asics definitely has new tech, which are lighter, more comfy, and bouncy.

This shoe seems much more well constructed than some other Asics (and for Asics that means they all last a way long time).

The Asic Gel Quantum 180's are extremely comfortable, light weight, and I love the touch of bright colors for some pop.

The least obtrusive seemed to be the silver and blue model, and they aren't exactly high fashion--the main fabric is shiny silver with bright blue laces and reflective-shiny blue bands all over it.

He's a professor, so he needs to look professional at work, and the 23 model didn't have a single option that worked well for that.

Please always make sure to provide a more subtle, sober, professional option for those with foot injuries etc.

He also felt a bit self conscious wearing those shoes when we went to nice restaurants or other fancy events where all the other men were wearing dress shoes.

Love these Asics like others
These Asics, like all their others, fit me well.

First off when purchased they were on sale from Asics which was great as I thought it would be a third party buyer.


It's my third pair of Asics and most comfortable till date.I had bought neutral shoes earlier

but this time chosen stabity shoes and it has worked wonders.I am able to run more comfortably and my knee doesn't pain any more.Amazon did a wonderful job by giving it for 3500,yes thats what I paid for them.Will buy only stability shoes from now on to be nice to my knees.I jog everyday and this pair works like a charm.Cannot think of any other brand with so much comfort and durability.Asics  it is.

The Asics Gel-Kayano (plus SmartFeet inserts) is by far the best shoe for his needs, and has been his go-to everyday shoe for years.

The fit, comfort, and support are the same excellent quality that he has come to count on from Asics Gel-Kayano, and this time they seem to have hired a better designer, because there are a few options that actually look good too!

Excellent Everyday Shoe for Managing Severe Heel Pain
My husband has special shoe needs due to a severe foot injury in his right heel (surgically reconstructed calcaneus held together with metal plates, screws, etc) that causes constant pain.

Secondly when I got them, they fit my feet perfectly and instantly my running issues were over.


As being a fan of Kayano, it is the best running shoe that fits me.

but decided to head out anyway as everything else fit and felt good.

but I can live with that for such good, comfortable shoes.


Trainer was exactly as described and really comfortable

The sizing was spot on for him, he found the uppers to be very comfortable, he loved the responsiveness, breathability and flexibility of the shoe (he runs midfoot strike as recommended by his therapist) and the seemingly ultra light weight compared to the various Saucony's he's been wearing for years.

The tongue has virtually no padding and does not protect from lace bite in the slightest.

I've been wearing Asics for over 5 years and these fit just like I expected them to.

It's a great overall shoes for daily training, distance, tempo and recovery runs.

They have a lot of bounce to them and they fit my feet perfectly.

The V at the top of the tongue fits perfect and doesn’t shift around.

Shoes are "laced" with elastic bands that cannot be tightened or tied.

First thing to note about these shoes is that there are no traditional laces.

however the lack of tight laces make these less suitable for active sports like running or tennis.

I think had these had "regular" laces these would be a 5 star product.
