but not as long as I expected, only bought them because they were U.K. size 10.5 in a wide fit, still fit a bit big and are average really, only good thing was the price to get that size trainer

but fit narrow for me and I have very wide feet.

Asics seems to be making their shoes a bit narrower, and the width of the new shoes is about a quarter of an inch less than my Gel Venture 7's.

however they are making them a bit narrower now for some reason.

but the forefoot is wider in the Venture 8 even though both shoes are extra wide size.

The shoe laces that come with these are thick and round and I didn't like them.

These had a serious design flaw in that the back of the sole at the heel stuck out really far.

ASICS are the only sneakers I wear - they give comfort and support for my somewhat flat feet.

These ASICS are the most durable they make.

These arrived today, and I'm very happy with them.

I don't think they look any bulkier or different than women's Asics.

What a relief to find such a good pair of Asics at such a good price, the right color and so much good room in the toe box for the insoles and socks.

I have flat feet so I found even that was not enough, the Spenco's are a game changer and cured my plantar fasciitis.

but great traction and comfortable right out of the box.

I wear these to play disc golf and they give good support and are comfortable and stable on rough trails.

I’m working 8 to 12 hrs a day mostly walking and standing and I need a good and comfortable shoes

but much more comfortable to walk in because the sole flexes more.

but I'd be willing to bet you would find the Venture 8 to be a much more comfortable shoe for walking or running.

Even so, the Gel Venture 8's all still comfortable and in my opinion a nicer looking shoe with a much more cushioned ride, also a more aggressive tread pattern for a trail running/walking.

That may be preferable for walking on rocky terrain, and they certainly feel very stable.

I would say that is the only downfall of Asics is they do not make enough of their top sellers in wide.

but the sizing of this shoe felt like I needed to have ordered a wide - a widthI have never ordered before.

but overall, this was too tight around my foot, too tight in the toe box, too tight in the width, as expected in the heel.

28 in the size 7 fits a little shorter than I am used to also.

These Asics Gel Kayano 27 Running Shoes have literally changed the way I walk.

I guess Asics and my feet just fit perfectly.

but I know I've got the right foundation in the Asics Gel Kayano 27!!

There is considerable upward thrust and I feel the sole is enough to provide orthotic kind of support (see pics to see the extent of my flat foot) 3.

I have flat feet, over-pronation, and achilles tendonitis and after a few weeks in these, I haven't been bothered with foot or achilles pain, which can be excruciating.

My feet feel supported and running in these sneakers feels natural for my feet.

I had always been a pronator, and these sneakers were recommended.

I am up to walking 2 miles a day and hope to get to 5 miles a day by summer, and these sneakers are a large part of my success.

I put them on and they seemed to fit well.

but was sent to Missisauga Ontario before being then sent to Newfoundland.. Thankfully they are good shoes and fit.

After taking a few strides, I could tell that snug fit was a plus.

but do not buy from those guys that I bought unless you have time to return.

The insoles are a bit tough and dont offer much for arch support, meaning around the 1-2 mile mark, they started to hurt my feet, so I adjusted my run form to compensate.

(layer under the insole) is also Ortholite and it just squooshes too much, so you can't feel the ground and your feet hurt after a while since they are trying to find stability.

The insoles that came in the shoe are junk and will be replaced immediately.

The only problem is they rub on his heels, which is easily fixed with different socks.

The traction was as much as I expected for Asics, grips and pushes forward, a little less so when moving side to side (negligible), and you can feel the full effect when you take off.

I have had issues with my feet and Asics are the best shoes I have found.

He has very flat feet and over pronates, these shoes provide a good amount of support and good cushioning, plus they feel lightweight.

I look forward to breaking in the Surveyors and expect they’ll get even more comfortable.

Soft, snug, and pretty slick in terms of looks.

Most shoes I wear a 12

but I need to wear them out for another hundred miles or so I give it 4 Stars instead of my average 3 because of the cost I paid for them ($55 + Tax), so it's pretty good for the price I paid

They are soft and wear in fairly quickly.

ASICS GT-2000 7 Trail Men's Running Shoes

waterproof

Sketchers use glue that when it gets wet, the shoes instantly stink and that sour smell never goes away.

I would not run in them if on wet rocky surface.

slippery

If your running on dry hard pack or grassy trails; great, if not  your slipping and sliding.

I would say overall for a size 14 it fits a little bit smaller than expected, which was probably right on since I usually wear a 13.5.

order one size bigger that they used to be!!

I typically have to buy a 1/2 or full size larger (too long) in order to fit in the shoe.

Great, Great and Not So Great
After a long break with  Asics I went back to the GT-2000-07 and hit the trails.

a nice stiff foot board which is what peeps with flat feet NEED.

not overly padded so  they don't feel like your walking joging in mud.

but mainly they are athletic and wide at the balls of my feet.

This time I ordered the normal width and the toe is good

Shoe was comfortable from the first time I tried it on.

Kid loves them! I bought these for my 4-year-old boy because he has flat feet (like me!)

but for the peace of mind that they’ll last until your kids feet grow out of them they’re worth it.

Mizuno Women's Wave Inspire 17 Running Shoe

This is the first pair of Mizuno's that I don't really like, they're a little too wide (the model, not on the inside) and I keep almost tripping over.


I did not expect to have to return this item as I have an identical pair which are a perfect fit.

Bought these in April 2023; only wear them on walks and the tread is already worn off.

I normally wear a 6, and had to purchase a 7.5 for them to fit comfortably.

This difference in sizing for the same product makes it impossible to buy online.

This is a good stable running shoe comparable to ASICS 2000 series I don’t run, so I wear them to walk.

It provides good support for my over pronating, flat feet.

Tight around the ankles and waited too long too return.

The next day same struggle, I sadly decided to return them.

Its a slip on tight makes it a struggle everytime I put the shoe on and there is the ankle part sticking out that keeps poking me and makes me uncomfortable.

Looking at the shoes this section is curved in and I’m sure that helps with keeping the shoes in place while running, it makes the part that you are supposed to use to pull the shoe on, rub against my ankle, I’m totally going to wear a band aid until my ankles get used to it,

Comfy shoe for flat feet
The ASICS Kayano is really good for over pronation.

I work in a hospital, on my feet all day, shoes are very comfortable.

but are very comfortable for walking & aerobic classes.
