Comfy, well made shoe I've been a fan of Asics shoes for the past few years and love the comfort they provide.

I had a new 18 which I had bought a while ago of specific colour to wear as a comfortable walking trainer, so was able to compare.

but were also stylish enough to wear with a pair of jeans.

I love them, and have worn them every single day since they arrived.

These are an older model, yet are a high end running/sport shoe that are comfy to wear all day on my feet, or when I walk alot while out and about the town.

I am happy to say that I was able to order the 6 1/2 and they fit.

I would probably only buy these again if I find a really good deal on them, they will work fine

So once I decided once and for all to just take a chance and order online, I bought my normal size, and they fit fine.

I have broke my ankles pretty bad in the past and this pair feels comfortable to wear.

though good shoes need arch support and most that do have it come at pretty hefty price tag, and then again the insoles they come with get worn out pretty quickly so just buy insoles that'll cost you around 20 bucks (I use plantar fascitis insoles due to my plantar fascia), and replace them as needed.

I had problems with another style that I got a tiny hole in them after quite a bit of wear.

Asics are the best shoe we have ever bought.

The leather is a good quality and walking is more comfortable than my old pair of Asics as they are worn out from use.

I like the arch support that only Asics has for my foot shape.

Toebox Space: I have a long index and wide front of my font, most shoes fell a little crammed and this can be a problem for running 5+ miles due to blisters from scrunched toes.

I don't understand why when something ain't broke, the manufacturers want to tweak it here and there, OR change the plant where it's been made.

Midsole could wear out quickly I still have the Lone Peak

but not sure how fast they'll wear or if the grip will get weaker.

One of two top brands for long distancee hiking I just completed my through hike of the AT and while I didn't wear Altras, I did notice they were one of the most popular brands.

I'll probably alternate w the Lone Peaks until my knees adapt since my feet were less sore in these on the longer run than past 50-mile stretches.

I did not expect them to be supple and much more confident descending on pebbly loose tracks in New Mexico.

After trying Hoka and Asics, and not being satisfied, a rep from REI recommend Altras.

I don't fault the shoes for this, as I bought them knowing this was a risk with the thicker foam and they're otherwise great.
