These shoes have been very slip resistant, oil & chemical resistant.

As for the slip resistance in oil they're not as great as previous shoes,

The toe box on these shoes is a bit small .

The toe box on these shoes is a bit small and the shoes are bit narrow for my feet.

I had to replace the insoles because of the small toe box and my heels moving up and down as I walk.

Oh and I replaced those skinny laces with normal ones.

The end has always come when in insoles would eventually flatten out & the top, back of the shoe above my heels frayed.

Actually it says "SR/USA" on the top and "Made in USA" on the bottom.

I think it may be because of the super thick soles which made them feel squirmy until I got them broken in.

My only complaints are that the laces tend to untie by themselves a bit more than other brands that I've worn, and that the soles squeak just a tiny bit on the cheap "school-safe" wax that my employer now uses - note that they squeak only a tiny little bit, and not as bad as other shoes that I've had or heard.

ANYWAYS these shoes feel as comfortable as the MADE IN USA New Balance Athletic shoes I owned in the past which were 10.5 4E these Rockys here are 10.5EW that I have.

-These shoes seem to be built very sturdy, the uppers are leather and sturdy and the bottom sole of the shoe seems to be strong and solid unlike most other athletic shoes, even New Balance.

Other shoes like my indoor Asics Gel Rocket are too soft without tight/firm heel support around the heel/back half of shoe & I have turned my ankles many times while wearing them.

I wish the sole was better so don't waste your money unless you want to buy a new pair every 3 months.
