The shoestrings or like thread ,horrible..

If they weren't tied, I'd walk right out of the shoe.

My only complaints are that the laces tend to untie by themselves a bit more than other brands that I've worn, and that the soles squeak just a tiny bit on the cheap "school-safe" wax that my employer now uses - note that they squeak only a tiny little bit, and not as bad as other shoes that I've had or heard.

ANYWAYS these shoes feel as comfortable as the MADE IN USA New Balance Athletic shoes I owned in the past which were 10.5 4E these Rockys here are 10.5EW that I have.

-These shoes seem to be built very sturdy, the uppers are leather and sturdy and the bottom sole of the shoe seems to be strong and solid unlike most other athletic shoes, even New Balance.

Rocker Bottoms Help A Ton
I bought these Gdefy boots because my experience with their shoes was so positive.

They are tremendously more helpful than boots without a rocker bottom,

With that said, I would recommend these boots to people with foot / ankle troubles.

They do offer relief above a typical boot.

Once you get them, they do take some time to break in. They also remind me more of a snow boot, decently insulated and water resistant (proof?)

My husband absolutely loves his new boots.

but it felt pretty tight across the arch & it gaped on the outside heel area.

Not what I thought
This shoe was tight and short in the toe area and bulged out at the heel.

A larger size would have made the heel slip completely out.

but the sole is plastic and so slippery I couldn't walk around the house, let alone in winter snow and ice.

When I pulled the shoes out of the box, the first thing I noticed was how slim they looked.

but even in a 10.5W it was so narrow, I couldn't even get it on.

I wear a M in width and this shoe did not fit as it is very narrow.
