Heel liners worked only temporarily and were a waste of money.

I'd adjust the shoe, forcing my foot back, getting my heel back into its designated spot, only to have my foot forced forward again within one step.

If it weren't for the elastic issue, causing the toe and heel issues, they'd likely be really nice kick-around-the-house slippers.

There was at least a 1/4 inch gap between my heel and the shoe.

I had to return them because unfortunately they were a bit too wide at the heel

but the shoe was too wide in the heel, so I returned them.

The only complaint is after the second day, I noticed an irritating rubbing from a small nub on the the inside seam where the heel meets the side.

I was not in love with this medium denim blue color, so back they go.

Sizzle flat ballet
This is a very comfortable shoe.

This shoe is nicely cushioned and has lots of padding and support, and still looks like a nice dress shoe.

These shoes fit true to size and are pretty comfortable.

but am disappointed in how small and tight their apparent size 11s run.

I found out when I pulled the paper stuffing out, in particular the LAST glob that extends from the middle to the toe, that it WASN'T the last glob, there was indeed a rather small glob still way down in the toe, almost pointless for this minor bit of stuffing being separate from the other,

That's a lot of trouble because of a small piece of paper that was hard to see,

I ordered a 10 1/2 EEE, (one size wider than I wear based on previous reviews), and couldn't begin to get my foot in it.

I had already innocently troubled Amazon with returns of shoes that would have fit, so I'll keep the half-size too large as a life lesson.

although a reddish brown, it does not look like the cordovan (the color, not the leather) I recall.

Only Individually handmade shoe would be better quality or comfort
Some will scoff at the durability of a leather sole, don't wear them without overshoes in inclement weather,

Once properly molded to your foot, these shoes are incomparable in comfort, more like wearing a ballet slipper than a dress shoe.

Finally I ordered a shoe size larger, different style, and both shoes fit very well.


Fits really well and they look very high class would definitely go great with suit pants.

but when I tried them on they fit fine (size 10D).

Thankfully Amazon let me exchange it for the next size up, (11 EEE), which fit fine.

I ordered this pair in the size I believed I was all along and viola, a good fit.

I have never (prematurely) worn a hole in the sole of any of them.
