For example, I purchased a size 13 using the Kamik sizing chart because the inside the shoe, it fits like a size 11.5/12.

I bought these boots for snowmobiling, and ended up having to return them.


I had to order this a full size larger than I have ever bought another boot or shoe.

They are not super for hiking in winter (which is why I bought them)  the soles are not very "rugged / hard / etc" - you feel every rock through the bottom.

Order at least one size UP, and watch that plastic hook-n-looper

I had to return them, which was a bummer because I was really looking forward to having a new pair of shoes.

but more reliable METAL hook, I am returning them.

I find the laces a bit cumbersome (prefer speed laces vs. the eyelets).

If the boots are not tied very tightly, water gets in past the waterproof tongue.

They fit like a size 10.5 with heavy socks, and were very tight across the mid sole.

There is only the bare minimum of stitching in the liner, which prevents the insulation from compressing and provides a lot of warmth.

These are very warm, comfy, and durable winter boots.

I feel like my feet and ankles are very supported and warm they seem to be made well and I am happy to have proper winter boots after many years of going without.

They are excellent snow boots 5 stars,  3 star winter hikers.. so I went 4 overall.

I bought these because I was looking for a burly winter boot that didn't break the bank and this pair definitely checks both boxes.

These boots are great.

Comfortable, too, and not sloppy like slip-on boots.

Tight boots restrict blood flow, and it's the blood flow that provides warmth.

but in the process of trying them on I can assure you that they are warm.

* The Good * - Warmth: I was very surprised at how warm these boots were for the amount of insulation in them (200 grams).

The snug fit definitely made me feel more confident on slippery pavement.

I am a woman I usually wear a woman's 9- 9.5 for width I am wearing a men's 8 they fit snuggly

I got the Charge ATOP boot which fit great.

As others have said, these fit larger than other boots of the same labeled size.

Beware of half price offers on the net, you'll get nasty Chinese Wellington's that you might be able to use in the garden if you are lucky .. and some of those sites are after your card details as well .

They were too big so I returned them for a size 9 and they fit much better.

I wore these barefoot in 10F weather for at least two hours with no issue.

Awesome boot for the winter they are 100%water proof and are rated for 75 below zero

Warm, comfortable and they wear great, my first set lasted 15+ years and only recently sprung a leak due to a nail hole.

These boots are the first I’ve found that keep my feet toasty warm without the need for toe warmers or battery operated socks.

I am VERY happy with these boots and can relegate my muck boots Arctic’s to warmer temperatures as they never kept my toes warm enough working in freezing temperatures,

I find them durable, comfortable and far better than any I've tried through many a long cold winter.

If you are 'on the go' you will have no problem keeping your feet warm

Comfortable, ever-so-slightly on the big side (expected), and warm.

Once they're on and everything is all set, they really are very warm and comfortable to wear.

You do feel "Warm & Secure" in these boots.

This is my second set of these particular Baffins  and I love them !

To Heck with chinesum made boots, Canadian made boots are the best !

The rubber on the Baffins..especially the sole, is a little softer and more supple, allowing for a more natural (as natural as you can get in hefty boots) stride.

Overall, I'm very happy with these boots.

but, I leave the boots on for a half hour or so more before I take them off, just because they actually make my old legs feel good.

I'm older and things like this are more noticeable. Once I have the boots on, they don't "Feel Heavy."

I do like the gaiter feature to keep the hay debris out of my socks.

The Kamiks are a little more fitted whereas the Baffins are a little baggier in the ankle area to allow for more layering of socks.

The few times I wear thin socks, the fit seems just right.

I might be returning them,  as they just don't go over jeans nearly as easily as my old pair that have puppy teeth holes all over.

These are not nearly as wide in the calf as my last Jileon pair, despite both being labeled extra wide.

Just be aware if you order - Max calf width 17" by my measurements.

On the new boots, the toe box is smaller, the instep is lower, and the heel is smaller.

These boots are very much appreciated whether slipped on barefoot or with socks and they have not cut or dried out to split open and have held up very well.

Easy to get on and off and anyone that feet and legs swell or you just have thick calves and ankles this is the boot for you .Not cold proof

I would recommend this rain boot to any woman who need a boot for their wider feet and calves.

My calves are so large I have cows and fat ankles too so I was delighted these boots and are super comfortable.


Love the boots, they calf is adjustable, and they come in a variety to cute designs!

For the first time, I can say I'm in love with a rain boot.

But I had to jump on here and give these boots 5 stars!

They can be strapped closer to the leg or left open, they are roomy and I'm not a small person; so, the room in the boot is not tight at all to the calf.

If you are struggling to find boots, which can get really depressing, feel confident buying these.

Considering buying a second pair to have in case these are ever damaged.

I purchased size 7-1/2M and the fit was perfect in the length and width; however, I can't keep this boot because it hurts my top ankles.

That flap folds over after it's been zipped up and it rubs the ankles.

I really like these boots for my daily walks to the dog park in the rainy PNW.
