But what several reviewers have said is true, the insole rides up on your heel and you can feel the gap with your toes.

Also, the insole of the left shoe kept sliding toward my heel until I finally superglued it down.

however with the newer pairs seems like the insole slips and rides up the heel which has stopped me from wearing it as much as I used to.

The main thing I dislike about these is that the soles both come out and I am unable to get them to not slowly ride back toward the heel of the shoe as I walk or run.

As for these shoes, you can step on stones on the road without pain like the Merril vapor glove fours ( that HURT to step on stones with those) so the bottom is thick enough to protect the foot
