I have very wide feet from having gone barefoot much of my childhood.

This is a comfortable zero-drop barefoot shoe.

I can wiggle my toes and still feel planted for my weighted moves.

Loads of room for toes to wiggle and extra reinforced area for that upper part that always gets a hole in it when your big toe pokes into it.

They are very comfortable they feel like a globe.

Comfortable to walk in and comes with an optional removable insole so you can decide how 'barefoot' you want to go depending on the surface you are walking on.

These are the best choice I have for shoes for working in a hospital, I wear them with toes spacer for the big toe and it really helped with my bunion pain after long shifts

but my feet and knees feel good wearing them and I have high hopes when I do start running in them as I have always had fallen arches and knee pain, even with trainers with arch support.

As advised by other reviews, I went up half a size when ordering these and they fit perfectly!

The only drawback for me is that they get dirty easily and tossing them in the washer led to the bottom sole peeling away from the upper fabric of the shoe, so hand wash them only, and don’t use them for dirt-heavy animal chores on a farm lol.

If you're used to thick soles and lots of cushion you won't find that.

Only 4 stars because the bottom could use another layer of foam for comfort.

but if you wear a men's size 13, this is unlikely to fit.

I ordered a men's size 13 for my brother and when it arrived it said men's size 12.5.

He tried it on anyway and, sure enough, it was too small.

The only thing I wish that I had gotten a size 12 instead of 11 and 1/2.

Great barefoot shoe.

My toes have room, my feet aren't squished, and my heels and arches no longer ache.

Kept them for around house- they are comfy

However they are still super comfortable and I’m planning to buy a new pair so I can have a nicer pair for errands and etc.

the shape on my foot is wonderful, my toes aren’t cramped, removable insole if you wish, and still just as comfortable.

Also worth noting they may not be great for wide feet as they are fairly narrow throughout.

My feet are on the narrow side of medium and I find them hard to get on.

I believe they are about a half size smaller than normal, and they have little to no padding in the footbed.

Not as roomy as my other Merrill "Barefoot" shoes
My foot could be a model for size 10 Women Merrill shoes, so I cannot truthfully say that this shoe does not fit correctly.

the fit hugs the heel and midfoot and is a little too long.

but getting them on initially is hard, tight heels.

Comfortable
These are great for running for those who are newer to “barefoot” style shoes.

But it is made to fit more snuggly around the toes than other Merrill Barefoot shoes I have owned.

Snug around arch, which for me is a plus and tons of toe room without looking boxy.

I have just enough toe room and can move all my toes.

My daughter, who wears a full size smaller shoe than I do, tried them on and found the fit comfortable with a little extra room in the toes.


The shape is amazing every toe finds it's place, shoes are comfortable

She finds these shoes the most comfortable that she has ever owned being very light with great arch support for walking.

Lastly, the sole feels stiffer, so more like a shoe.

First, the heel is now stiffer and rubs differently on the back of my heel.

I spend my days barefoot or in flats, so zero drop is for me.

Room for toes
My little toe bunion is much more comfortable.

I didn’t get a single blister, ache in my foot, bruised toenail, sore ankles—nothing.

They were so comfortable and I have already ordered a second pair to be my more “casual” shoe.


Zero drop sole as recommended by a friend, very supportive and comfortable, helps with my bad back/ knees.

It’s lovely not having squished toes into narrow toed shoes.

They are not padded at all so if you're looking for comfort, I would suggest sizing up so you can fit an insert in them.

The snug feeling they talk about with sizing down has your toes rubbing the end of the shoe.

I usually go barefoot on lifting days and I kind of wanted to stop doing that so I grabbed these.

I have a bit of room from my toe to the top of the shoe which I like.

They are very lightweight and comfortable.


These are instantly comfortable and easy to walk in.

After 2 days of wearing I definitely feel more comfortable to the sizing.

but send back the cheaper ones and bought these which I am very impressed with.

I have been wanting to buy these shoes for years and I was so happy to see them for cheaper then the original retail price.

The shoe's I ordered were delivered the very next day (from the UK), quickest order I've gotten by far.

I like them a lot so far (although I still plan to buy the motus strength model) these are pretty good.
