All I wear now are Hey Dudes, they can be professional/casual and the the most comfortable shoes I have put on my feet.. what a glorious feeling.

This style is sturdier, more structured and has more traction/texture on the sole than the other styles in this brand.

but I found them very narrow compared to my other Sperry Top Siders (2 pairs).

I've returned them for being much to narrow, will re-order in wider size as soon as the wider ones are available.

but with these ones I actually have to order the extra width, for the first time in my life!

So recommend the next width up from the standard size and 1/5 size up in length fit my normal size perfectly!

although the box label stated size US 9.5 the shoes themselves were marked as size US 10.

These shoes have a thickish lining - thicker than the shoes they replace - which means that in my case I needed a full UK size bigger than my usual shoe size, ie.

I have worn them all day at work and by the end of the day, my feet are sweaty and my socks are soaked- not a usual occurrence with any of my other shoes.

Also the laces have a tendency to pop off the speed lace hook at the top unless laced tightly.

A worthy winter companion to my regular boat shoes.

The soles seem quite sturdy, the insulated interior is warm (but not hot, so as to make your feet sweat), and the leather is of the quality I have come to expect from Sperry.

Wanted a waterproof and warm lightwieght winter boot, this fits the bill - works for me.

but I can say I climbed the Statue of Liberty in these the day after I bought them, which meant about six hours on my feet outside in 45-50 degree weather on ferrys, walking around, and climbing a LOT of stairs, and they were extremely comfortable the whole time.

Super Comfy, must have shoe for the winter!

Other than that, I found these to be incredibly comfortable, far more so than my Top Siders ever thought of being!

but when we do, these will without a doubt keep my feet very comfortable and warm!

however I tried them on and they fitted perfectly.

however as with every new purchase which is about every 5yrs apart or so, I recognize every time that there is a distinct and consistent downgrade in the quality of materials used to produce these shoes.
