Xtratuf Women's Leather Ankle Deck Boot

wear

I wanted something I could wear day-to-day and not have to be concerned about wet feet in all this rain we have been having.

I wear a 6 1/2 and bought a 7 as suggested by the manufacturer (half size go up)

Runs small I wear a ladies 8-8.5 and the 9.5 I ordered my daughter fit me not her.

I won't be able to wear extra thick socks

but I don't usually wear thick socks while walking.

I think after wear this would not be an issue and in the meantime I ordered a sock that is a bit higher than ankle.

toe shoe-box

The insoles were completely flat and when I added an orthotic insert the shoes were too tight in the instep and toe box.

Which is odd because if I tried a heavy weight sock, then the toe box would have become too small.

Had a heck of a time getting it off and had to get my 18 year old son to pull it off my foot!

shoe-box

stretchy

but the ankle is so loose that they are falling off my feet.

bogs

I tried several different rain boot styles from different manufacturers, including Xtratuf, Hunter, BOGS.

In general the BOGS had the best arch support and the widest toe boxes.

I ended up returning these and keeping a pair of BOGS that were well made, affordable, and fit my foot better.

attractive

casual

I like the leather version for everyday casual use and look forward to wearing them later this year.

style

I liked that they looked like a cute boot and were advertised as waterproof.

boot

I highly recommend sizing up if considering a purchase of this boot.

Also, I was surprised how good the arch support is in these rain boots!

I have had Muck boots, LLBean, Ariat etc… A lot of boots.

So far I am beyond happy with these ankle boots.

I have a farm horses, mule, chickens and garden… I DESPERATELY needed an easy on/easy off pair of durable ankle boots.

hiking boot

As far as ankle support and traction, I read complaints, they are not a hiking boot.

hiking

I nor.ally wear an 8w in converse, 8 in dream pairs and 8 in bogs.

These are beautiful well made leather pull on boots.

comfortable

These are durable, comfortable and keep my feet warm.

They are wearing well, holding up great. Comfortable.

Comfortable Chelsea boot I have some Born slip-ons I got at Pismo Beach in 2009.

They were comfy from day 1 and still look good.
