make no mistake, these are SNEAKERS- NOT COMBAT BOOTS
fairly certain that standard issue combat boot LACES weigh more than these entire shoes weigh.

..like, seriously not joking about them weighing less than my dad's US Army issue boot LACES.

.but it will take some getting used to lacing the up as they have a very funky tongue that attaches on both sides all the way to the top.

But I didn't consider breathability - as these are waterproof boots, there's isn't much airflow once cinched and tied and ready for walking.

however so far I have found they are very slippery, especially when wet and walking on smoother surfaces, such as decks and driveways.

In order to prevent an extremely tight / uncomfortable fit (unnecessary return of a great product) you WILL NEED to buy Timberlands that measure two-to-three sizes larger than your actual foot size so both insoles fit - e.g., if you are a size 12 then buy at LEAST a size 14 or preferably 15 (longest, and widest fit possible).

I had to replace the insoles the ones that came with the boots are not built for those standing or working on concrete 10-12 hours a day.

I bought these for work they are light weight but the sizing is small and hurt my feet even though I bought a size larger than my feet

Order 1-1.5 size larger, they do not run true to size
Order a size larger, I am a 9 and ordered a 9.5, my toes were touching the inside; going to consider a 10.5 and hope they work out.


Order one full size bigger than you normally wear, they fit quite small.

I will purchase an inner sole cushion for the bottom because they do not seem to have much there.
