The laces that come with them are comically long, so I suggest swapping them out.

Oh, and if you don't enjoy tying your boots laced high, forget it- that "fold down" feature wasn't accounted for when they chose where to place the lace eyelets, so the fold is in a weird spot that makes everything look funny.

The bad- I felt every seam, crease, the safety cap, even the lumps under the insole.

May need to swap out inserts for sport inserts.

The only gripe I have is that after hours of wear you feel it in your soles.

they have the air vents too low and they take on water easy so you will get wet feet.

The tongue in the boots is a little bit small 

The first order was for the same size as my current boots (my current boots fit well with some extra room) the boots that came were so small that I couldn't get my foot past the opening of the shoe.

These boots do not equate to standard sizes.

but very tight for the size that I ordered.

Just like with the indestructible shoes these tend to run about a size small.

Nice light workboots
I have used the indestructible shoes brand before, which these remind me of very much.

I was surprised that they kept my feet warm because they are so breathable,

The upper material is surprisingly soft and breathable for a work boot.

They are super comfortable and are made so well that I am beyond impressed. While one would usually look at a lesser known company and think it's just going to be a "meh!"

The toe rub went away after the first week, the heel found its spot and the over all tightness became a snug comfortable feel.

Decently Comfortable, Very Snug Fit
I’ve worn these, when appropriate for work, across a couple different days now.

I've probably got about 30 hours on them now and they're comfortable shoe easy on easy off.

Interesting Mix of Soft and Solid
I like the look of these work boots, and they are fairly comfortable.

I usually wear either a 9.5 or 10 Men’s US, and the 9.5 I ordered fits me snugly.

The boots fit great and are very nice looking.

They are lightweight and breathe quite well.

These boots fit at least a 1/2 size to a Full size smaller than the size advertised.

but fit like they were a size 10 or smaller.

I placed one of each boot…heel to heel…and these Northside boots were 3/4” shorter in length at the front toe than the size 10-1/2 that fit me.

Note:  if you are going to order a pair of these hiking boots….add at least a 1/2 size to the size you usually take.

The downsides are, the size 8 men's is a bit snug and I can see where the center lace loops are very weak.

but order a size larger than your actual size.

They seem to be one full size smaller than marked.

Lightweight
I have 6 herniated discs, bone spurs in my hips, and plantar fasciitis.

Was pleasantly surprised how lightweight these are.

The boots are great, very comfortable and well made.


These are nice looking boots, comfortable and fit well.

The padding in the soles are good, the laces have not broken and they give me decent support.

Very solid, the soles are soft, flexible and "glue" to the stones.

This time we ordered a size 9 and they were a little tight; so we had to return them for the size 10 which are now somewhat large.

I may have to add another small sock or something to push my foot forward in the boot.

I only wish they made half sizes, I would have ordered a 7.5.

They run about a size large as I wear 9.5 US and often order 10s in shoes that do not come in half sizes.


Bought two sets for my son and I and with in the first month he had holes in the bottom and side and the stitching on my pair is coming out.

An additional pair of insoles and heavy socks, and they were still way too big.

Cons: No toe protection (If your working around large animals be forewarned it is going to hurt if you get stepped on), No arch support, non aggressive sole pattern (con as you may be more pron to slippery conditions

but the young girls Roper boot did not have any of the quality issues that were so obvious with this Men's Barn II Western boot.

Good light weight Boot
Comfortable boot, light weight and at a good price.

Pros: light weight, easy to slip on and off, neoprene uppers are more breathable than plastic/rubber and much more comfortable yet waterproof, price- hard to beat for 50.00.

After reading other reviews I took a chance and they fit fine even with heavy socks.

There's some arch support which is comfy for me.

Trying to find breathable mesh work boots with a composite safety toe isn't easy.

My husband loves this brand & style of boot for work & can't get his size in stores.

These are very light, typical of many styles of boots and shoes with hardened toes made by Wolverine.

I've always had good luck with Wolverine products, these boots should serve me well also.

They are comfy & feel more like sneakers for him.
