I can’t believe the price of these as well and bought 2 pairs.

Thin material
I have wider feet and maybe would suggest ordering a 1/2 size up.

I bought a pair in Feb 23’ and July 23 and within a few months they both started to get holes on top.

Order at least a half size up
I bought these shoes for a trip to Rome.

While everything else fit well, my big toe was right at the end and I know it would be uncomfortable after a lot of walking.

The other thing is the laces are a pain to cinch up (whatever they are made of) and the tongue is uncomfortable.

I had to take out the liner inside and lace them further down due to the swelling in my feet from the plantar fasciosis.

The only thing I would say is get them a half to a full size bigger.

These shoes are noticeably better on my toes due to the purposefully larger toe box.

I have wide feet and the box toe style is wonderful for me.

but run SMALL
I typically wear a 5.5; however they didn’t have that size so I bought a 6.

but just know you’ll want to size up for sure.

The only I don’t like is how the soles of the shoes fit.

My only negative critique would be that they are not the most durable, I have had these for a couple weeks and the outside layer is already starting to tear ☹️

Scratched then a bit when I wore them and said “damn my new boots no more” rubbed my thumb on the scratch and WOW, scratch gone!

Beautiful, stylish boots that are comfy and in pristine condition with original box.

And since the shoe is such great quality, there isn’t much give or stretching going on for the shoe to mold to my foot shape.

I tried going up 1/2 size & they were too big.

I sized down 1 1/2 sizes and they still slipped on my heel.

Regardless of sizes I tried, I couldn't get a good fit.

If you do like Rockports in general, these are like others & you want to order a size down, or at the smaller end of your range.

The problem I ran into, and a general problem with Amazon shoe descriptions is the absence of heel height.

Amazon could save a lot of UPS costs and customer frustration by simply insisting that an accurate heel height description is given for each shoe they sell.

I wasn’t comfortable reordering a third time.

but in truth they are more like 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 high…had to return them.

The box arrived with return packaging which was a plus.

The shape of the toe also makes them comfortable, as they mimic the real shape of our feet.

After wearing them all day, I must say they are the most comfortable black pumps I have worn (and I have four other pairs that are other brands that hurt after a full day wearing them).


I liked the fact that the product fit well, made of great material, and is comfortable.

They stretch a lot
When ordering byes size smaller at least one size if not two sizes they do stretch

I ordered these in size 9 first, too small-ordered size 9.5, still too small- oh, and the "Made in Ecuador" shoes were different sizes, the toe on the left shoe slanted backward instead of rounding outward like the right shoe, essentially making the left 1/2 size smaller.

Bottom line- order one full size larger than normal.

BE ADVISED sizing runs large, at least 1/2 size large in my case.

The Moose skin confirms to the shape of your foot.

I own a pair of Minnetonka Double Deers in size 9, fit perfectly, loose and comfortable.

With a reasonably good insert I’m able to wear a moccasin that’s a little large (and this makes them really comfortable).

They are very comfortable, soft leather & extremely durable, plus look great!

These come a size small so order about .5 up

Vivobarefoot, if you don't have the stock, which is evident by the lack of shoe sizes available for EVERY STYLE (especially size 12) do not advertise that you do and allow me the consumer (and potential vivobarefoot fan boy) to place the order and then be let down when you fail to me your delivery service level objective.

The insoles don't even lay flat in the shoe
The insoles bend up in the middle and don't even fit the shoe.

but the shoe it self, is shaped like a V and was tight enough with thin athletic socks on to force a return.

Never been more comfortable
Overall a 10/10 shoe, high quality and extremely comfortable with a toe box wide enough to conform to the natural shape of the foot.
