You could make sure this boot is water proof  this is not truly a waterproof boot. disappointed!!!

This boot is not a true waterproof boot, I am a farmer, you walk through heavy dew in the grass and it does not take long that your feet are damp!!!!!!!!!! !

My problem is they still cause major callous on the outside of my big toes, too the point that my toes hurt bad.

They're also starting to cause my middle toes to hurt on my dominate foot along with heel pain on the very rear of my dominate foot heel.

Which matters when you are on concrete for much of the day, I am using them on 59 year old feet and with that will always have times that during the day are uncomfortable.

Great Heavy Duty Work Shoe
I've worn the shoe often over the last six months and have been very satisfied with the fit, quality, and ruggedness of the shoe.

Good quality heavy duty laces and I like the hooks for the last couple rows.

I recommend the CAT Men's Diagnostic Hi St Work Boot.

but they last longer than any other boot.

He typically does get a full year out of his boots before we have to replace, which for our work, is really good.

UPDATE: After owning these boots, wearing them 6 days a week, 10 to 12 hours a day, they are still in great condition.

Overall I'd still highly recommend these boots.

But I still highly recommend these Cat boots.

Overall a very good boot, reasonably comfortable, and they are a true fit.

Comfortable AND Lightweight
Best steel toes I've had in 20 years.

They require very little break in time and are comfortable to wear all day with extensive walking on all surface types and extensive climbing up and down all day.

Steel toe and thick rubber sole provides additional confidence that the shoe can take on all challenges.

The soles & rubber stand up to tough work, and even in wet weather don't soak his feet.

I work from on my knees quite a bit and the sole of the boot has an extra flex feature which allows the foot to curl up more than conventional boots which is good for overall comfort while performing on the ground work.

I work in the desert, walk on many uneven surfaces, rocks, steel, the soles are still in good condition, the leather remains in good condition, they're even still water proof.

The eyelets will get oblonged and cut thru the laces.

The boot has eyelets with burrs that burn through laces, even indestructible ones!

The first pair had a tendency to eat shoe laces up like no tomorrow.

I have bought many pairs of boots over the years.

These were the most comfortable I have ever experienced right out of the box.

I work in a heavy duty shop working on very large mining equipment on steel floors for 12 hrs a day and these boots are the best I've ever worn.

The only thing is that after a few washes… the inside bottom lining separates.

The foam bottom is firm and my feet don't get too warm.

What I don't like about this slipper is that the shape of the sole could be improved.

It feels like the sole itself should be curved inward as it comes into the heel section.

I wear a size 14W, it is not tight and it fits snugly with enough room to breathe.

Where you normally have a leather tab/loop to help pull on boots, the placement of the ‘stretchy’ rubber band like loop is one; too stretchy and too low on the heel.

4) Although I always get another shoe arch support, the ones these come with don't even a back of heel lift.

Upon closer inspection, I saw I had been sent one size 8 shoe (right- what I had ordered) and one size 8 1/2 shoe (left)!!!

It was past the return date, so I had to buy another pair, sadly.

Fit and construction
They don’t really fit as the should kind of tight where the tongue meets the bottom and one of the metal lace holders came out when my wife was lacing up the boots

The boots I received had extra ankle straps.

They're too stiff and uncomfortable to wear when not riding though, which is a bit disappointing as I hoped I could wear them casually as well.

The top of the foot is very tight, so I put softball in the boots to help stretch the leather and stitching.

Heavy (in a good way) with a very sturdy toe box and comfortable right out of the box.


These are heavy duty boots, I have no doubt of their protective qualities.

Outstanding quality
I'm a size 7.5 so I ordered a size 8.

I’m happy I took the chance on them as I usually buy my boots at a Harley dealership to make sure I like them and they fit.

Milwaukee Leather makes quality products (I’ve purchased their leather motor clothes before) and I am VERY impressed with these boots.

I will definitely buy more boots from ML in the future!

I ordered my regular shoe/boot size (8) and they are perfect.


These are real motorcycle boots, very well made.
