But I need to knock them down a star for the worst laces I've ever had.

I tighten the laces and they immediately loosen before I can tie the knot.

I much prefer the rounder laces on the Xero Prio.

The weird cushioning, short toebox height, lack of breathability, and slippery laces are deal breakers.

The shoelaces are a little too short for a heel lock.

But even just walking around my apartment, I noticed my feet sloppily sliding from side to side in the shoes.

However, the toe box is not tall enough at the very front of the shoe, so my big toenail constantly makes contact with the top of the shoe, making the shoe feel too small

The wide toe box is very nice and the sizing is true to size.

The best thing about the Altra Rivera 2 is the toe box.

With zero drop, wider toe box and designed specifically for midfoot strikers, the Rivera 2 seems to be the perfect indroduction to a barefoot running shoe.

I love the zero drop construction, wide toebox, and outsole.

I'll give the Rivera this - it's not overly wide, even for being on the slimmer side as far as lasts go, so my toes did have plenty of room to splay.

This is my first experience with Altra shoes, and I have to say I do enjoy running in them,

• Outsole - Very grippy; if these things hold up like they have in my other Altra shoes, the Rivera 2 will definitely go the distance and should easily hold up well past 400-500 miles.

• Flexibility - As with other Altra shoes, the Rivera 2 is also impressively flexible relative to its stack height.

We like the shoes came with the extra laces and in a box which was a plus.

They look good with everything (dresses , shorts , jeans etc) I also wore these to Disney and didn’t complain once about my feet hurting doing all the walking we did everyday

I wear these shoes about every day since I bought them, they go with everything and are so comfortable!

I’m on my feet all day everyday for work and these are a great comfortable shoe that doesn’t hurt my feet when wearing them for long periods of time.

The sole is too hard.

The Dr Scholl inner sole is too thin hence not as comfortable.

Well made and comfortable
Out of the box, I am pleasantly surprised they've got a slightly wide fit.

I order the brown and I think they'll work well at the office or everyday walking around.

These shoes go well with business casual and are some of the most comfortable shoes of this type I've had.
