I was immediately disappointed, though, as they seemed to be way too tight for a wide-width shoe, and then I couldn't even loosen the laces?!?!

Whatever moron decided to lace these shoes backwards deserves to be fired.

Only problem was I didn't have much lace left to properly tie.

but the shoelaces are a ridiculously awful change to the standard.

The only way i could get the shoelaces out was to cut off the tips with scissors (as it is the size of the wax capped ends trapping them within the eyelets/shoes)

but once you do that you have to purchase new laces that don't match the shoes anymore as once cut there is also no viable means of rethreading the laces into the shoes.

I'm not happy with the way they laced the shoes.

but the eyelets are really small and it's difficult to pull out the laces.

As I kept yanking on the laces I was expecting the eyelets to pop out so I guess I'm going have to get used to the way the manufacturer laced them.

I hoped that in doing so, I'd be able to loosen them where they were too tight and make these shoes more comfortable.

Weird Tongue Issue
I needed a pair of waterproof shoes that were wide enough for bunion relief for an upcoming trip.

I ordered 2 pair and the second pair had manufacturing defects that would have made them uncomfortable even if they did fit.

The heel cup is still good when laced normal snug.

With these shoes laced correctly and not so tightly, these shoes were pretty damned comfy!

The new laces fit through the eyelets without any problems and let me lace the shoes up in a way that was comfortable for my foot -- with enough left to tie correctly.

They've got great support, great tread, and remained comfortable through everything I did today.

but keep in mind it is thick, so keeps your feet warm, really warm.

I think Propet's sizing has changed.

They are so soft and comfy, great around the house shoes!

These shoes are very soft, comfy, and stretchy, which is nice because I normally wear a size 8 1/2 4E. Time will tell how durable they are,

but for now, I am just very happy to find a pair of comfy shoes that fit :)

These are surprisingly comfortable and are a generous XX wide, which I am thankful for because I suffer from a severe bunion.

It also is nice that the top of this slip on is not too long or deep as that is sometimes an issue with my painful foot problem.

With arthritic feet, I must have XX wide shoes and these fit my need.

Runs a little small
I wear size 12 regular, these runs small and narrow, it said 12 medium,

even though I ordered a size larger than I normally use it turned out to be too small.

I should have returned it immediately for a larger size,

Unfortunately these shoes (also made by Proppet, same size just a slightly different style) we're the only ones available in black.

The size and fit were supposed to be the same they weren't, they were nowhere near as broard fitting as the previous shoes, and to make matters worse the nylon stiching was 'knotted off' internally leaving knots that sliced into your feet.

I had ordered a wide and was not the right fit for my foot.

So these had to be delt with  plus it cost me another £30 for a shoe stretcher to get the width to fit!

At near £100 a pair you should not have to carry out majior alterations to get a pair of shoes to fit properly.

Great product I have neuropathy and have searched and searched for a comfortable shoe with good support.

What I don't like is, instead of having a tongue like most shoes, the vamp is all in one piece, so it folds or pleats across the top of the foot below the laces.

They are easy to put on, even on my very wide feet, and fit true to size.
