Love this shoe
I wanted to try a pair of Salomon’s after wearing adidas goretex hiking shoes for a few years.

Fitted like a glove, so comfy, nice and rugged and lasted a few years off general use with a couple of mountain walks thrown into the mix.

They’re very comfortable and sizing was good for my fit.

but caution
Fit was true to size for my 8.5 the comfort is wonderful for all day wear.

but they accidentally sent me 12 and 1/2 which is no big deal because it still fits great.

They haven’t come loose on me and haven’t snagged or broken and I’ve hiked off trail quite a bit thru brush.

And the support means an all day hike doesn't leave my feet bruised the next day.

A little snug in the front half of the shoe for wide feet like mine
I contacted them about a possible wide model, or maybe up-sizing to get more room

but since my foot is so wide they are too tight on the widest part of my foot.

But these are a tad more narrow than my previous shoes of this brand.

but were not true to size , very big, more a 6/6.5 and Bc they were huge they tore my feet up and gave me bad ankle pain

They are great - you can get your feet wet, they dry quickly, and provide grippy footing in deep mud.
