I think the composite toe cap makes these shoes shoes fit smaller than shoes without the toe cap.

I don't like the fit,or the way your foot doesn't feel any support on top from shoe design.

I purchased the shoe October 25th, here 10 months later and it's still holding strong including the water resistance, sole and upper materials.

They were really easy to work with when it came to exchanging the shoes we purchased to get the correct size.

but I had to return them because they run small and the largest size that they offer is too small for me.

Then when I got them, the size 6 (which is my shoe size for every type of shoe I’ve ever tried on) was too big.

There are two minor improvements I’d like to see: the seller including heel to toe measurements that correspond with their sizes, bc in this shoe, their sizes seem to run a half size larger than US sizes; and maybe make the accent color in the shoelaces gray, white, or even all black (I don’t love the fluorescent yellow, and it IS fluorescent – not a pale yellow or off-white it looks like in the pics).

Breathable hiking shoes
These hiking shoes are made of a breathable material which is really handy when you're hiking.

Their customer service is amazing as well…I ran into a problem after ordering them, so I sent them a message.

They’re a little more rugged than the average sneakers, so they’d be excellent for hiking (although that’s not my jam).

They seem to have a pretty good grip on the bottom which is why they're hiking shoes.

They responded very quickly and directed me on how to handle that issue, and the original order issue was resolved.

I ordered the purple which is a very pretty color so I'm very pleased with these shoes.

- Bland boring brown with grey element on the sides of the soles - Design looks more plasticy (but feels the same) compared to Timberland

but if I didn't show you the Timberland, it wouldn't be something you'd feel missing at all - Laces are the fabric kind which might thin out over time - The additional elements such as the black piece at the back, outsoles do not sit flush with the rest of the boot.

The design is the very same as far as the inside goes Insole feel is hard on both.

Highly recommend a softer add-on insole or replacing the one inside.

Conclusion: If you never saw the Timberland Chocorua's, the Nortiv8 would be just as good for 2/3rd the cost of the Timberland Chocorua without the finishes and cosmetic looks Timberland has and the padding in those certain areas pointed out.

I did notice that the sole of the boot feels thinner than previous similar boots and I can feels stone impressions more.

I ordered the same size as my previous LOWA boots (9.5 USA) and found these boots to be a bit larger inside, especially in the forefoot area.

While the Timberland person stuff respond, the responses seemed blunt as if I was being a bother, sort of uncaring, some questions were referred back to their product team which I haven't heard back from yet.

Good for ankle support ( mine are shot) ,great for comfortable walk with flat feet ( I'm like Fred Flintstone), and there made of breathable yet sturdy material.

The Nortiv8 customer service was much more courteous and kind in the responses.

I used both of these first generation boots on my farm despite the eyelet issues becase they were comfortable and had good traction.

They are comfortable and the size seems accurate based on my normal size (Men's USA 11).

Winter shoes
The boots met my needs for cold weather.

Surprisingly the glue they used to attach the sole to the upper never failed after heavy use and frequent wetting and drying - a common problem I'v had with boots from Columbia, Keen, Hi-Tec.

I find this much better than coping with boots that are too small

I have only worn the boots for two days and already they are feeling better.
