Not actually a barefoot shoe
in general I was a little disappointed with the quality as the material is thinner than was expecting and I am guessing this will shorten shoes lifespan

What is would be that these are marketed as barefoot shoes and yet do not have one of the most defining features of a barefoot shoe.

but if looking for actual barefoot shoes these will not allow your toes enough room t achieve any benefits.

but the ankle opening was ridiculously small.

So small they were unwearable and had to be returned

The biggest problem with these and the other cheap Amazon steel toe shoes is instead of opting for more leather, everything on the bottom to where your shoe string is tied up at is made of plastic that will break easily.

But a bit hard on the soul of my feet and slippery.

the top front hole has broken,  which means I can't get these to be as tight as I want them to be, which will only cause me discomfort.

So far all the steel toes bought on Amazon haven’t lasted long for me as I walk 5-9 miles a day depending on the day I have at work.

My only complaint why i gave 4stars is because the tongue isn't stiched down in place to the inner upper part all the way, just a small portion of the tongue is stiched, so it rolls in when you put your feet in.

I bought these Reebok shoes for everyday use and they're incredibly comfortable and breathable.

Very light comfortable shoes for long hours walking
I work in the hospital for 14 hours and these shoes are very light and have a good cushion that supports my feet during a long day of walking.

Slightly warm, as expected, so great for most season except maybe summer in Japan.
