Brooks Women's Signal 3 Neutral Running Shoe

Not what I expected
This particular style of Signal 3 sneaker does not have a removable insole like the other styles for some reason, so I'll have to return it since I can't insert my own orthotic.

I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks and my feet hurt more now then before when I was wearing cheap shoes.

They are well made and this particular style does not have that high arch in most Brooks shoes.

I researched best shoes for standing all day and the brooks came up in the top 3 choices so i ordered a pair and they do not disappoint!!

Fit true to size and are very comfortable right out of the box.

Sized down based on reviews, did not fit
I can see why people are saying size down, the shoes may run a bit wide.

Sadly, they must go back, and I won’t reorder because

although it was a free return, the credit had to go onto an Amazon gift card instead of my credit card., and I couldn’t be sure of the correct size to reorder, with the possibility of having to return again.

One draw back is when it rains, the water spots are dark black and the shoe appears discolored.

I wore this pair of shoes when I visited my daughter in London, not for the all-day walking tours we did but to lunches and casual dinners.

I would consider both of those brands as running true to size.

I can already see myself wearing them with so many different styles.

They are comfortable and stylish with pants suits and jeans.

The Brooks Addiction Walker I used before the Merrell Moab Adventure offered great support.

I replaced the insoles on the Merrell shoes with Spenco Total Support Original and it now offers good support.

I returned them  they weren't completely waterproof
They weren't waterproof so I returned them

I have to return obviously and I am trying to decide if I should take a chance on another pair, that this was just a one off mistake?

I was shipped the wrong size - order record shows as 8.5 in some place, 7.5 in others
I had to return because I was sent a size too small.

There is not a choice of US or UK size, I assumed sizes were shown in US.

So sadly I probably won't be able to order the correct size since this will happen again.

Perfect shoes for me
This is the third pair of Brooks Cascadias I have bought over several years.

I walk every day 4-5 miles, and these last, they fit perfectly and reliably and look great.
