I've owned the shoes for maybe a month or two, and you can already see significant creasing and wear & tear on the straps.

The first day I wore these (which by the way they look fantastic out of the box) both pairs got gigantic scuffs .

The first day I wore these (which by the way they look fantastic out of the box) both pairs got gigantic scuffs on the front of them that I couldn't get off no matter what I did, I tried spit shining them, some water buffing, a legit full blown polish (with dry black kiwi shoe polish, buffing with a camel hair brush, and finally a shine rag, nothing worked.

didn't get the scuffs off which had grown larger at this point.

Keep in mind I've owned these for a week and ALREADY the leather has been gauged and is starting to peel.

Update: 2/4/17 - The sole started detaching a few months after my initial review and unfortunately I had to throw them away.

My only beef and this may be because I wear 13W, is that I had to buy a size bigger in order to fit my feet in.

I am a little concerned about the straps as they seem kinda fragile, so I guess I'll see how they hold up in a few months from now.

Save yourself a $60 purchase and take a pass on these shoes, and probably Stacey Adams shoes in general if the quality of their shoes is at all represented by these.

I wear these all the time for work or causal and they just add a little extra to your outfit…I always size up in a saddle.

I think that is what some people are saying in the other comments-- I did not like the look either so I am going to return them for the size and also how they look on my foot.

The insoles are basically a thick memory-type foam (not quite), so not a ton of support

Finally, you have to air these shoes out by taking the insoles out and letting things dry overnight.

They don't breathe all that well as they're leather, and moisture collects under the insole.

On the same one I repaired, I found the footbed to be wet and falling apart a few weeks after I got them.

I pulled the pieces out, and found actual puddles of moisture in the waffled interior of the soles.

The leather on this seems very thin, as well as does the soul.

I am on construction sites daily and seem to be able to feel every piece of gravel through the soul.

I think the tightness also contributed to my ripping a small tear in the leather at the V in the back at the top of the heel.

First, the leather/suede uppers are exceedingly thin material.

A casual look with just enough something that they can be worn for business casual at work.

but they're still the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, and are part of my self care left over from my COVID psychosis.

First, these shoes are awesomely comfortable and look great paired with jeans.

Once they're on, they're fine and very comfortable.

I love these so much, I'm wearing my first pair into the ground wearing them almost daily during COVID, with my second pair just now getting broken in (still love the first pair), and I just ordered my third pair, which will live in the closet for a while until I need them.
