The Cons: if you have flat feet or feet with a lower arch, these are the oddest most uncomfortable shoes you will ever wear.

I've never in my life worn shoes that felt so uncomfortable to my arch immediately upon putting them on.

2.0 is a good boot, it will serve you good.

If you have wide feet, these boots in a wide won't do you wrong.

My work place provides a free pair of steel toe work boots once a year.

I will always recommend this brand of boot.

Comfortable, construction seems good
I took them out of the box, applied some Huberd's shoe grease, and hiked six miles in them.

I like these shoes so much I bought 3 pairs for now.

Also very comfortable, and fit as expected.

The fit is excellent and I feet didn't feel damp/hot during summer or dry/cold in winter (then again its SoCal so it is not too cold or too hot).

My foot fit in comfortably, my toes fit in the steel cap without issue.

Narrow toe area With 11 wide
11 wide is still narrow in toe area I have to keep laces loose for comfort I’m giving them a couple more work days hopefully they’ll get broken in if not I’ll have to replace them.

Since they are stiff, getting a good and reasonably tight lace up takes a little more effort.

but I need to try adjusting my shoe laces to see if that helps.The soles can bend, creasing between the lowest and second row of grommets on my shoes.

However, the material is very stiff and would rub my Achilles tendon to the point of irritation when I first got them.

The sole to my above the ankel boot is also less then half way worn after having it for about five years and wearing them at hundreds of times.

Only issue I have is some discomfort / mild pain on the top of my left foot

Cat (Catapillar) shoes and boots are by far the most incredable, long lasting, well made and comfortable boots I have ever owned!

The three styles of the Cat boots I have were all comfortable from the first day I put them on.

An employee at an army navy store in Engelwood Colorado told me that Cat boots are the best made boots they have sold in over 30 years in business and they sell a lot of different brands of boots.

Cat is very careful on the way the boots are made.

The two boot styles I own are just as incredablly durable and comfortable as this shoe is!!!

None of the stitching has come apart on this boot, eather.

All their boots will last you many years, like mine have.

The upper leather is extermly durable and still in good condition.

The lether upper is incredably durable, still in good condition and none of the stitching has come apart.

The upper leather is incredably durable "full grain" leather, too.

Strong, sturdy, and don't feel heavy at the end of the day.

They became way more comfortable after a couple weeks of breaking in.

The soles are fraying on the edges, which is happening to some of my fellow co-workers.

The soles came apart and they cannot be repaired/replaced.

The leather around the steel toe is cracking badly.

Bottom line is I will be going back to caterpillar boots for my next pair, which lasted 3 times longer with the leather still in very good shape

The boots are lightweight and very comfortable for work.

Its amazing how rare this is to find in a work boot.

however be much lighter, more comfortable and cost less than half as much.

I have previously owned these boots with the steel toe guard.

but still fit as expected, and a very comfortable fit I may add.

however are the opposite as they are comfortable from the gitgo.

though they will take an absolute beating and last a long time,extremely comfortable with plenty of room your feet do not feel all jammed in them at all.

Cons:  Tongue could be just a bit taller so you don't have to go to the top rungs first, then the second row to make your tie, no biggie.

but again comfortability I’d give it a 5 heel area  seems tight, and the insole isn’t that comfortable even though it’s suppose to be antifatigueing
