I think the seller got the sizing wrong when adding to Amazon.

Size chart is weird and misleading.

but of course, my granddaughter accuse me of buying the wrong shoes because these didn’t have a whatever they’re called in the toe of the shoes, so she could stand on her tiptoes.

The fabric does not stretch, so if you are buying them for a child, and your child grows, they will not expand.

but my kid (14) laughed at them and said they look stupid (she’s danced in classes for years).

but hte teachers don't like the kids wearing them in the classroom due to the mess.

They got stained up just from dancing on the floor pretty quickly, and just didn't look great by the end compared to the other kid's shoes.

I ordered blue because it was on sale and it isn’t blue.

So if you’re sensitive to the look of the shoe or buying for a traditional class, they aren’t going to look like any shoes we’ve had required by teachers.

So, I'm glad I bought it for a short class, I'd go with something nicer for a longer class.

I will have to get a different size or take these in to make them smaller for them to be safe to wear for dance workout.

but with the fake leather, they will eventually peel and begin to look shabby with much wear.

EDIT: Went ahead and bought a second pair of these because they're so cheap, and the only brand with this pretty turquoise color.

elastic strap

these are a nice quality black canvas, have cross-cross elastic straps on top, as well as elastic cinch in the front.

The canvas will be easy to customize or take in for a better fit.

due to the elastic cinch tie, these fit with room to grow.

These are perfect, fit compactly in a back pack, my daughter loves them and they are comfortable.

the features i like best about these ballet slippers are: they are washable, will hold up well and leave the most room for my daughter to grow.

but insole falls apart and falls out
My toddler loved these, but after a few wears, the fabric on top of the insole started peeling off (picture).

but then more of it started falling apart and then the insoles just started coming out easily and were uncomfortable for the kiddo, so into the trash they went last night.

I loved this product for short term use- got this for my daughter to get her thru the rest of winter and they are adorable and super inexpensive

I really like that the bow stays tied and there is a bit of elastic at the back for her to slip on the boots.

My little outgrew her last years boots like this.

She is one happy camper and as soon as the boots came out of the package they were on her feet.

There was a tighter, more elastic back strap that held the shoe on my foot securely.

Fit differs from previous versions
• I like that the heel cup is deeper than previous versions (more space for orthotics).

Earlier versions were the best fit of any shoe I owned.

I'm pretty pleased with how they fit and feel.

This looks classy, unique, is extremely comfortable and even the laces have a bit of elastic stretch to them which makes it easy to tie - really cool idea that I wonder why it wasn't thought of before!
