I guess if you're in uniform, it's not supposed to comfortable.

These things are stiff
The price of Bates are out of control so I tried the budget friendly option.

These shoes are also very stiff, almost no flexibility at all.

The 10 extra wide is a half inch shorter and 3/4 inch less in width compared to other oxfords I own of the same size & width

The insoles were 2 small - I replaced them for comfort.

The sizes run big I wear a 10w in every shoe I own I had to return my 10w and exchange it for 9.5w.

Might have been the size, they were hard to find in EE width.

They are comfortable I wear them anywhere from 2 to 5 days a week for work they look good with uniform and don't hurt my feet at all as far as quality I'll let you know in 3or 4 years if they last that I'll by another pair

First impression- comfortable and good looking shoe.

I am happy to report the Thorgood's were so comfortable, they were like night and day.

but didn't fit wider foot
The merlot color was not a burgundy, but a bright jewel-toned purple.

Unfortunately, I have slightly wider feet (usually 7.5C/D) and these were just too narrow in the toe box to be comfortable, even when I sized up to an 8 (which usually works for me with Vionics that don't have wide widths available).

If these came in a wide, I would be delighted!

it’s surprising that they don’t offer all of their shoes in a variety of widths.

I expected a more comfortable wear though.

And still they were miserable to wear by end of day.

I still haven't worn them again because it was so bad.

but Im not sure if I can stand wearing them again!

However, I've only been able to wear them twice, for short periods of time and both times they rub angry blisters on the back of by foot.

After I took them off the back of my foot is red, skin has peeled off and I can't wear any other shoe that's closed on the backside, such as tennis shoes.

but this is frustrating because I love Vionic and spent a lot more $$ than I like on a pair of shoes I can't wear very long.

The shoes had a bright gold buckle and were gorgeous.

So pleased with this shoe, the design different and youthful and most of all the Merlot color is beautiful.

This product gave moderate arch support.

I added  an additional arch support and the shoe is great now.

First off, while they aren't real leather, you'd be hard pressed to tell.

The leather on the toe scuffed off of the right boot.

but when I do I see that the  neck of the boot wrinkles easily and when it does  it cracks the boot and the color flakes off. ..

On the second wearing, one of the nails popped and of course I can't find it.

The other issue is that I purchased the same size 11D boot that I always wear, and this pair is too large.

but my foot swims around unless I wear very heavy, or multiple pairs of socks.

It was clear the boots were worn by someone else,

The heel rand pulled off of the older ones after a about 6 months of riding and the sole on the left boot (the one I put down on the street first on a stop) has worn down pretty quickly.

I wear mine to work, in snow, rain and mud, polish them up and theyre ready for church on sunday.

Recommended if you want a nice looking boot with a rubber sole for work wear and want to look sharp off the bike and inside as well.

Great looks and fit
I never owned a pair of boots before and purchased these for a western themed occasion.

They fit really well, we’re comfortable and looked great.

These fit great right out of the box, this is my 3rd or 4th pair of Laredo.
