This boot stretched enough to fit my calf as well as a skinny jean or legging.

I am very pleased that the calf portion of the boots fit thinner legs.

The front and foot of the boot are smooth leather, the back is a beautiful refined woven leather and it does stretch (lined inside with soft stretchy fabric).

but found it was a size too large.. Quickly returned and tried a size down at 9 wide and was a great fit!

AE measured my foot as 10.5m or regular width

but this presupposes that you were not planning on doing any significant amount of continuous walking or standing in them, as they will gradually contribute to the bottom of your feet becoming quite uncomfortably sore and feeling taxed, even after a reasonable "breaking-in" period, which is largely due to the lack of any padding and barely any arch support.

The leather next to the zipper can be an rubbing issue so be mindful of that and pull it back until the zipper begins to work more freely when worn more often.

When its all zipped up it feels a bit thigh on top,

It would have been nice if they could have used just a little bit of that stretch material either as part of the zipper connections or a strip on the instep side of the boot which would alleviate that extra stress on the leather.

I saw these and am glad I popped on them, they fit great and look good too.

These boots have an initial nice and comfortable fit,

The boot fits very well and is comfortable to walk in almost to hot in springtime.

If you know the story of Goldilocks, I can save you a paragraph of reading beyond ordering a bunch of sizes and keeping the one that fits best.

The 10W was the best fit and still allowed room for the memory foam insole minus the original insole which isn't horrible

but the 10w was the best fit for the opening during walking because the 9w opening that fits with seemingly just the right gap for a pair of warm socks would create too much stress on the vamp and surely generate more friction than is optimal for the fit.

Best Boots Ever I like everything about these boots.

Great Boot I bought these for my Airline job, and I’m really happy with them.

On a positive note, they do a semi-decent job of keeping your feet dry in instances where you're encountering puddles or heavy rains; and yet the disconcerting flipside to this is the fact that the soles of these boots offer little in the way of a good firm traction on wet pavement, to the degree where it might be potentially dangerous to wear them out on a wet road when trying to operate and control a motorcycle of any significant weight.

Those boots are a excellent product and a very nice style.

These were the most reasonably priced boots for the limited choices available.

I could not be more pleased with the purchase.

I was always purchasing this style boot starting back in the 70’s when I rode motorcycles for many years.

Love them I normally wear 11.5 or even 12 if I can't get a wide enough size to fit my wide foot when buying retail.

At a time of higher prices, fewer choices, it seems the that these would be the perfect candidate for try before buy.

That being said, I have tried about twenty different sandals to find a couple that fit reasonably snug.

These boots DID fit and so far so good - they seem pretty comfortable and they aren't even too tight in the leg which even some 'wide calf' boots are,

though since it's pretty rare to find a boot that fits my calves, so I'm happy with them.

The soles are very soft with a comfortable heel height and I have done a full day’s walking in them.

Perhaps I will update this review after I give them their first wash. Lastly, Gold Cups come in different widths so if you are, for example, a 9.5 wide, you do not need to compromise and buy a 10 medium.

but once they were broken in they came around to fitting ok.

I bought the wide fit and boot is very comfortable fit and leather is very good quality.

Not a lite boot Like the style of the boot,

Supportive Heavy Duty Leather Easy On-Off Boot Good quality, heavy-duty boot supports the ankle well.

There is plenty of cushion and padding in this heavy boot that makes it comfortable.

The soles still have excellent tread and no leaks anywhere else on the boots whatsoever.

The zippers make it very easy to take off and put on yet keep the boot tight to your foot when wearing.

They are literally half the price of other boots of this quality!

I paid more for boots this good in the 90s!

Although the braided material is not stretchy, there is a bit of forgiveness.

Straps are a bit tight These are the cutest sandals ever and I'm so disappointed that they do not fit me very well.

It fits my slightly narrow feet well, the style can be dressed up for a classy Summer dinner look or dressed down for just walking around the beach.
