The front and foot of the boot are smooth leather, the back is a beautiful refined woven leather and it does stretch (lined inside with soft stretchy fabric).

but this presupposes that you were not planning on doing any significant amount of continuous walking or standing in them, as they will gradually contribute to the bottom of your feet becoming quite uncomfortably sore and feeling taxed, even after a reasonable "breaking-in" period, which is largely due to the lack of any padding and barely any arch support.

The leather next to the zipper can be an rubbing issue so be mindful of that and pull it back until the zipper begins to work more freely when worn more often.

When its all zipped up it feels a bit thigh on top,

It would have been nice if they could have used just a little bit of that stretch material either as part of the zipper connections or a strip on the instep side of the boot which would alleviate that extra stress on the leather.

Boot Fits Like It's Tailor Made I love dress boots and was looking for a pair to replace my old outdated Nunn Bush boots that are no longer manufactured.

Had I ordered my regular size the fit would be perfect.

These boots have an initial nice and comfortable fit,

The boot fits very well and is comfortable to walk in almost to hot in springtime.

If you know the story of Goldilocks, I can save you a paragraph of reading beyond ordering a bunch of sizes and keeping the one that fits best.

I have always ordered larger sizes when it comes to footwear and used various types of inserts from memory foam to insoles from previous shoes that had to be removed to fit right.

The 10W was the best fit and still allowed room for the memory foam insole minus the original insole which isn't horrible

but the 10w was the best fit for the opening during walking because the 9w opening that fits with seemingly just the right gap for a pair of warm socks would create too much stress on the vamp and surely generate more friction than is optimal for the fit.

Best Boots Ever I like everything about these boots.

Great Boot I bought these for my Airline job, and I’m really happy with them.

On a positive note, they do a semi-decent job of keeping your feet dry in instances where you're encountering puddles or heavy rains; and yet the disconcerting flipside to this is the fact that the soles of these boots offer little in the way of a good firm traction on wet pavement, to the degree where it might be potentially dangerous to wear them out on a wet road when trying to operate and control a motorcycle of any significant weight.

These were the most reasonably priced boots for the limited choices available.

If the boots stretch out, I can always add thin slice of insole padding of any type.

I was always purchasing this style boot starting back in the 70’s when I rode motorcycles for many years.

Supportive Heavy Duty Leather Easy On-Off Boot Good quality, heavy-duty boot supports the ankle well.

There is plenty of cushion and padding in this heavy boot that makes it comfortable.

However, after months of riding, and admittedly, motorcycle boots don't get worn and subjected to wear like regular everyday shoes,

I had spent a couple of months looking for a pair of boots with a side zipper when I found these.

The trip to the cobbler's probably increased the boot's lifespan quite a bit for ~ $50 for the pair (I got a late delivery discount).

The soles still have excellent tread and no leaks anywhere else on the boots whatsoever.

I purchased these, comfortable, has great traction when you need to back out the bike and road stops.

Among other "tests" I put it to, before buying it, and comparing it to the other two options, I asked my wife and adult daughter to give me a "what looks the coolest" vote.

Compared to the pair of Bates boots that I tried at Sears- these are a far better buy.

Bottom is like a tennis shoe and the top has all the support.

Pros: - Great support for my feet and alleviated pain and discomfort due to plantar fasciitis.

They didn’t stretch in the water and were grippy on the rocks.

but not for wide/fat feet I have ⬅️wide➡️, ⬆️fat⬇️ feet and unfortunately there is not much stretch to the straps to accommodate that.

Straps are a bit tight These are the cutest sandals ever and I'm so disappointed that they do not fit me very well.

The next day I wore them to the Mayan Ruins again grippy and comfortable.

The bright braided straps are quite snug, and I know as soon as I get into hot weather and my feet swell, they'll be too tight.

They are so comfortable and they work great for the water or for light hiking or even just running errands.

The softness of the memory foam allowed them to bend/form to the uneven surfaces and I did not experience any sliding at all.

They do look really nice and I wish they felt comfortable like they do on others,

Although straps are pretty snug now (not too tight), I can imagine the possibility of them getting looser with time,
