But they make so much noise when walking on hard surfaces.

That's annoying & is the only drawback, there's no quietly walking on hard floors wearing these.

Also, could be a bit easier to slip on as it is necessary to bend over to hold slippers to put my feet in them..

My feet are always cold, these keep them warm and not too hot or tight.

They're cure, soft, warm, & have slip resistant bottoms.
