Ive been a big Cole Haan shoe brand fan and i cant insist enough how much i looked for the sneaker Zerogrand.

Bought one pair 3years ago for the first time coz why not and i was really impressed by how comfortable and an underated product quality they are made of,mind you they were my daily wear kinda shoes and ive constantly been trying to find them until i came across this particular ones i had here and what i received was excellent.

I like them so much I do not wear them everywhere because I want to rock them for a long time and when they wear out, I will miss them.

The only complaint is that the laces are rather stiff.

but to get the shoe on, you had to use the strap behind the ankle to pull on to get your foot in.

I got these for my 20 something son because he is on his feet all day at work and he is kind of a sneaker-head, so I thought they would be good for him.

These “sneaker boots” are great for an everyday shoe that is not to dressy and not too casual, comfortable and goes with everything.

I would recommend them for a smart casual dress look if you are looking for a casual oxford sneaker at a reasonable price.

Sharp looking casual oxfords
I ordered an 11.5 which is usually what I wear and these fit perfect.

These are high tops which will be nice in the fall  They look great with jeans or slacks and are perfect for casual dress.

The shoes are comfortable and look great.

Ripped within a month of use
I wanted to like these, with the minimalistic look and reasonable price compared to more expensive similar-looking brands.

However, after a month of moderate use, the back of one of the shoes started to rip.

It scuffs and scratches quite easily and after wearing mine for a few months they have multiple spots where the leather has been worn off.

Arrived Dirty nothing New about New Republic

The shoe lace was what appeared to be brown smudge and inside the shoe heel area same dirty brown smudge.

This new design feels too rigid, the suede lining isn't as soft and the shoes squeak out of the box.

However, it is still hotter than, say, a nice smooth leather lining on a higher-end dress shoe that does a better job absorbing heat and moisture.

Still, for $89, in my opinion these are definitely the winner in the price range for 1) value, and 2) minimalist style, when compared to brands like Cole Haan and Adidas' Stan Smiths.

I was looking for a nice *minimalist* white leather sneaker without paying something like $400+ for Common Projects shoes, and these definitely fit the bill!


I've owned 3 pairs of Kurt's now and they're insanely comfy, until now.

My only concern down as I get into these are how narrow they are.
