But as I said  the sizing is just too big for my foot and they feel sloppy, my foot is not that wide or long so I found within just a couple of steps my feet  would move around.

Sizing is a little small
I ordered these for my boyfriend I ordered the size indicated for a men's size 13 shoe and he says while they are cozy they are a little small on his feet so he's not real crazy about them unfortunately.

Also, note that they run somewhat small: he wears a size 12 shoe,

His only mild complaint is that he thought they could be cushioned a bit more (especially in the heel area).

While they do fit me, I end up walking with my heel sitting on the rear edge, instead of my foot sitting entirely inside it.

I ordered the 11-12 and they fit shorter than my other shoes that size, causing my heel to pop out of them when walking.

Plastic toe split is very uncomfortable
The toe split is a very hard, and abrasive plastic that cuts into your feet between the big toe and the the other toe in my opinion.

I wore these for the first time yesterday and the skin between my toes where the toe split is on the sandals was raw from irritation and constant rubbing while wearing the sandals.

but my husband doesn’t like the width of the piece that goes between his toes, he says it’s too bulky.

but I could not get far enough back without risking damaging the sandal.

There is definitely an adhesive component that is visible with the leather peeled back a little.

I was anxious to try these out.

I looked to see if they actually sent that size and I couldn't find a size listed anywhere on the shoe.

No shoe size on the bottom, on the sole, under the inside flap of the shoe, nothing.

On the other hand it's very thin and mine came quite wrinkly in some spots like the top of the toe.

The insole is quite comfy and then thick rubber prices ample cushion.

These are a decent looking leather strap sandal on a thick rubber sole.

Very narrow if you have large feet.

The footbed is very comfortable and the rubber sole is great quality and appears to be quite durable.

Ariat Hybrid Rancher Western Boot – Men’s Leather, Square Toe Western Boots

I do find they take a while to break in: the leather is thick and unco-operative at first so there's some discomfort from it not bending in the most ideal places, including the shaft and the reinforcements in the toe box and around the heel (presses into my foot just below the anklebone); I suspect those reinforcements are made of plastic and not leather.

but that too I was prepared for, as for the fact the soles tend to slip on our pebblestone roads when wet ;) What I'm much less happy about is the fact that the rims of my heels are already showing significant wear after less than a week (!!)

The steps have rough raised steel that is pretty jagged so you won’t slip, this always leaves chunks cut out of the heels and my soles are tore up at 6months and destroyed at 9

We'll see what that does to the inner lining; it'll probably end up shredding as all cloth lining always does for me; the lack of space probably doesn't help with breathability either.

Another thing that must be due to the textile lining and the slightly tight fit: I keep having to pull up my socks (up and out from around my toes. ).

Normally wear 12’s ordered 13, very happy, took a few days of wearing to be easy to slip on.

I’m really happy with the comfort and look of the boots.

When they arrived boxing was nice, the boots look dang good.

*UPDATE* 3 DAYS Thes boots are amazing and had to give another star.

The wide carbon fiber shaft is great on the arch as well as the heat activated self forming insoles that make this boot an all around winner.

but these are by far the most durable and most comfortable.

Was able to make it through day 1, only minimal discomfort at 9 hours in.

Day 2, 9-10 hours before even less discomfort.

Overall those are all things I was more or less prepared for, so overall I'm quite happy. Cleaning the clay out of the soles is a b***h,

The soles are always awesome with Ariat Duratread (The makers of Nascar race tires) which makes them durable.
