Had to go purchase another pair elsewhere for my son.

Without the shoelaces the shoe still hugs his feet well.

It doesn't feel tight around his ankles like other highttop cleeks with shoelaces tied to tight around the ankle.

but the fabric around his ankles is almost like a sock material which helps him when he's running.

But I find walking a bit odd as the foot beds compress with each step the straps become looser causing the  flip flop to slide around on my feet with each step.

Since they are so heavy that might contribute to them sliding around on my feet.

They keep my feet dry, cool and comfortable and I just wear them out from daily use.

The sketcher reference is because i like those if I’ll be doing a lot more walking because how they hug the foot.

Great fit
My son-in-law buys this exact pair and goes through them in one season so I'm happy with the price.

They feel great when you first put them on, the foot bed length and width is correct and the straps seem to fit well.

On the first tighten of the draw string the shoe broke in the most important part..

The design is terrible in that the place where the lace goes through is very weak.

The design of the lace hole is horrible and needs to be completely rebuilt.

When I tried them on and tightened the laces the plastic part holding the two together immediately broke.

I ordered wide which was the right choice considering I was wearing my super thin socks when I tried them on, not my thicker work socks.

There is decent cushion and fits like a usual sneaker with some slight modifications.

But the fit is even wider than expected, and heavier than I realized they would be.

Rocky Men's Rkc050 Military and Tactical Boot

They have no real defined heel and so your feet are flatter than a boot with a heel.

I am concerned that this would transfer all the weight straight down, whereas a boot with a heel distributes the impact differently.

Heel allows for too much slippage and can wear on your heel until broken in or heel toughens up.Not enough time in these boots to  say how they will hold up,

This creates bunching under the boot strings and rubbing on the top of the foot.

I have noticed that the Tactical is starting to sag and buckle on the sides and rear of the boot.

I bought this pair for my daughter who is in ROTC and she preferred a 1/2 size larger too.

The Tactical runs a little small and the Predator is off two full sizes.

I would probably gotten a half size larger

To be to the point the quality control on both boots is substandard.

I truly expected more for this price point and better quality control.

Unlike the KHYBER that has flex zones and hugs the foot, the Rocky is like wearing a leather bag with a cool organic style sole.

The sole assists with anti ankle role and tension by being wide and almost flat.

Love the fact that the Vibram sole is one piece and not a glued togather composite.

I like that these soles are sewn to the upper.

These are very comfortable with minimal break-in.
