Saucony Men's Endorphin Speed 3 Running Shoe

wear damage

With such extensive use, it's natural to start noticing some wear and tear, particularly on the outer side of the heel edge, which is a point of concern.

unstable

unique

I've already ran about 100 miles in these and there are no signs of any durability issues despite the unique foam feel of the sole.

stiff

It's durable without being overly cushy (losing power from your stride) or overly stiff.

sole material

The sole material feels like it was made out of Styrofoam,

cool

These are the best shoes I’ve ever worn The shoes are comfortable, looks cool and apparently these shoes make me walk faster, and run better.

running shoe

Under Armour Men's Charged Assert 9 Running Shoe

stretchy

It could be that his older shoes are just stretched out enough he didn’t realize his foot had grown or this shoe is really more than 1/2 size too small.

sole damage

On my second pair My old pair lasted me just over a year and just now has started to rip from the sole.

sock

Had to fold my socks to protect my heel from rubbing against the back of the shoe.

slippery

I took one star way because walking at the gym feels slippery

sizing

Sizing can be an issue, especially when ordering online.

purchase

Nike Men's Race Running Shoe

width foot

I have a narrow foot and benefit from a well supported arch.

width

sole

But there was a small stain on them and the sole was dusty.

I used an additional insert b/c I have high arches and these shoes are super neutral.

shipping

but please, pay attention to what you send to the customers.

purchase half-size

Nike seems to run small so I ordered a half-size too big and it fits okay.

wear

ASICS Men's Gel-Resolution 8 Tennis Shoes

uncomfortable

BUT - if you want to wear these shoes around town and off the court you will likely find them uncomfortable.

toe shoe-box

but it has a narrow toe box so if you have wide feet, size up.

They are also rather stiff and offer excellent support.

pinky toe

I also noticed earlier this year that my wonderful Asics Gel Game 6 shoes have developed a hole near my pinky toe on one of them.

Nike Women's Running

wrong size

Though I still had to return them because they were the wrong size.

sole grip

The top is almost like sock material, so that may be why that doesn't seem to bother me.

roominess toe

My other shoes that are all 8.5 give me a little wiggle room in the toes.

Saucony Women's Endorphin Shift 2 Running Shoes

toe width

but in the online reviews it says they are a little wider in the toes, so i decided to try a 9.5 regular.

thick sole

I also am not used to wearing shoes with such a thick sole so I found these to be quite bulky for my taste.

stretchy strap

You need to really loosen the shoelaces to get them on as the heel collapses if you do not have it loose enough to get your foot in, i.e.

The sole has no give, when you try to bend it is stiff and holds its shape, which is great for support.

Slightly thicker sole material than my previous shoes

walking

HOKA ONE ONE Bondi 6 Mens Shoes

I hoped to expand my HOKA options and decided to purchase these HOKA ONE Arahi 6’s (same size), and so learned that the GAVIOTA 5’s are a wide shoe by default.

When buying HOKAs, make sure you find out the width first and if they are a special sized shoe.

There’s some noticeable wear and tear already, which is a bit concerning considering the shoes haven't been in use for that long.

walking shoe

I'm going to be trying an expensive cushion in my shoe and a cheaper tennis shoe to see if I can accomplish a comfortable walking shoe to save some money.

I almost gave up on these shoes because of the knee discomfort.

While the toe box is generous, providing ample space for your toes to breathe, the arch support seems inconsistent.

Mizuno Men's Wave Neo Ultra Running Shoe

vacation

After switching to the Mizuno Waves I can make the entire trip without a rest, and I no longer feel as if all the blood in my body is being squeezed into my poor feet.

With narrow outsoles you run the risk of turning your heel on cracked and wobbly paving stones,

You are raised up in running shoes due to the thick cushioning layer in the midsoles and are basically sitting on top of the shoe, so they would tip over fairly easily if you used them for lateral movement, super high risk of ankle injuries.

sporty shoe

The other warning, if you know the functionality of athletic shoes, is straight forward.

size smaller

If you like a snug fit and wear thin socks, I suggest you wear half a size smaller; if you like to wear thick socks go with ur reg. size.

After paved path and road running in them for several weeks they are holding up well.

The Ultimate running shoes As expected, the quality is phenomenal ; reliability and the build is also excellent , it will probably outlast the Nike Alpha Fly's .

AGAIN, this shoes are the supreme excellence of the most highly coveted, perfect running masterpieces.

but I'm an enthusiastic walker who takes several 10-15 mile city walks each week to stay in shape, and I've always found that running shoes translate well to walking.

Superb fit, ultimate comfort, overall great running shoes!

I have a LOT of experience with running shoes, used to own a sporting goods store called "Runner's Roost", and as you can tell by the name running was my specialty.

The midsole (white and blue part of the shoe) is extremely cushioned, yet feels surprisingly stable, which is good since I tend to pronate a bit (common running pattern where your feet upon impact tend to roll inward towards your arch).

Being so lightweight and comfortable they would make great casual shoes also if you're not into running.

ALL running shoes are only made for forward motion like walking, jogging or running, NOT for lateral (side to side) motion like tennis, basketball or any other court sports.

The tradeoff, running shoes can be much softer and more comfortable due to the design, courts shoes less so, if you plan on playing pickleball in these I would highly recommend you do not, get court shoes instead.

WHITIN Men's Cross-Trainer | Barefoot & Minimalist Shoe | Zero Drop Sole | Wide Toe Box

width heel

My tennis shoes have a wide heel that gets in the way.

So if you've got larger or wider feet, I'd recommend sizing up because even with the size up, there's only about a half inch from the tip of my big toe to the top of the shoe.

This one runs small, especially if you have wider feet, so you may have to size up a half size.

after a couple months of using them, I haven't noticed really any wear and tear.

versatile

I will probably look at other wide toe box, zero drop shoes that have a midsole going forward to be more versatile.

weatherproof boot

The incorrect stuff - there is no tongue; yes there is, it's just affixed all the way up the opening like a hunting boot - it has hard plastic shoelace inlets; no it doesn't, it's a soft fabric backed material a little stiffer than the main upper material - there is no padding in the foot; yes there is,

I generally get 'hot spots' around my ankles in hunting boots, this doesn't feel like that and once broken in (if they do break in) it shouldn't be noticeable.

I am a runner, so I didn't need an adjustment period to start wearing them during everyday activities like work (where I am on my feet for 8 hours).

However, they don't offer support like normal running shoes and they changed my normal gait during a trial track run with them on.

Develop stamina and muscles I've been running for many years and after so many considerations, I finally decided to start running on barefoot shoes.

but they were so pricey and not knowing if I will like running on barefoot shoes that I decided to do more research.

So I bought these on April, so after 4 months of running, 3x a week, my stamina increased.

So far they seem durable enough, time will tell how long they actually last. I do plan on getting back to outdoor running again (3 - marathon, trail-runner. )

Many note that you'll need an adjustment period going from typical modern tennis / running shoes to barefoot / zero drop shoes.

I work for a shoe company and I wear these all the time to work.

I have been wearing the first pair of shoes for 5 years and they are still fully in tact, no splits, cracks, rips, tears at all.

but wear them a LOT more than I thought I would The primary reason I purchased these was because of the grippy, flat, zero drop sole to get a perfect grip on the floor while performing standing lifts on our functional trainer.

This is because you will engage muscles in your feet you don't engage while wearing those shoes and engage other muscles more, like your calves.

I wear these a lot more than I expected, and I like the way they feel on my feet.

I was surprised to discover that wearing these shoes not only don't aggravate my ankle,

Almost perfect I wore these for 10 days in Europe with up to 15 miles per day and my feet did pretty well.

Women's NOVABLAST 3 Running Shoes

In either 3 or 4, I have a thumbs width at the toes.

I wear a size 8 wide in women’s and they were spot on.

even though they are a bit high with a thick bottom and are also very well cushioned.

size larger

I do think these run a bit on the larger side too.

durable

I read many Running reviews and the Novablast kept coming up as a solid alternative and a bit less expensive than the Bondi 8.

Fit well and look cool with the purple bottom.

Great comfort and quality Was looking for a shoe that would alleviate foot pain that I was getting on the bottom of my heels and these tennis shoes worked.

These shoes are well made and a great running shoe.

These are nice for outside and inside running.

I like everything about this running shoe.

I need lots of cushioning, and just began running again (61 years old so more of a jog!).

Comfortable Running Shoe The shoe is well-cushioned and very comfortable to wear on runs.

No more foot pain after running, great for lifting at the gym if you don’t want the flat soles for squatting or other leg work.

The extra room is good if you need a thicker insole.

I like that the tongue isn't huge and padded.

So comfortable and feels like walking on memory foam.

Bates Men's Shock 6" Side Zip Boot

washing

Seems different not as dry and snuggly as the usual Bates 6”.

Boots dried rapidly (2-3 hrs tops, without being near vent or using hair dryer), gripped well on grass, gravel, concrete below snow (when reached) and did not show significant discoloration or spread/elongation after significant moisture immersion.

sweaty

(Any of you who mucked about in the Delta in Nam can attest to importance of boots, socks [or barefoot or Panty Hose to keep leeches away and blisters under control] get the mission done without foot rot, fungus, or pain too great to be ignored.)

strap width

Had Bates simply allowed a bit more fabric behind the zipper to allow a wider opening, and a pull loop, these would be awesome.

sneaker

but give you a little more flex to back and forth like a basketball sneaker to walk normally so you're not doing that Frankenstein walk later in your shift.

yard/garden

All kidding aside, when I picked up the box UPS left on my porch I said outloud "WTF did they only send one boot?".

The Bates Men's 6 Inch Strike Zip Waterproof tactical footwear just underwent an endurance test of enormous challenge in some high mountain wet rock/shale exposure, prolonged desert/sand heat, and most recently three days of intentional use in the Jonas megasnow storm that poundeda the East Coast, mainly in the Mid-Atlantic and my Northern Virginia backyard to DC.

Yes these are the shoes worn by K in Blade Runner 2049 and the outside pattern looks very cool,

Boots are cool Ive had these boots for two days.

.yes i got these because I saw them in Blade Runner 2049!

but I spotted these in Blade Runner 2049 (I am a Blade Runner nut!)

boot

Most Comfortable Pair Of Boot's I ordered these boots in January and have worn them every single day for my job.

They are without a definitive doubt, THE MOST comfortable boots I have ever worn or owned.

My pair ended up getting scuffed on the front because of some work I was doing underneath a trailer so I will definitely be ordering another pair for personal use because I am so in love with these boots and BATES as a brand.

I even got my father to buy a pair of their motorcycle boots.

All and all, these boots are a wise investment and I do highly recommend.

Through nearly 50 years of security/specops, hunting, hiking/climbing, SERE instruction on all types of terrains and in all types of weather--ranging from typhoons to blizzards--I've placed a premium on the quality of the boots I wore.

(Still have pair of WWII-manufactured [1944] mountaineering boots bought in Army Surplus Store; which doubled as cross-country ski and climbing shoes for 10th Mountain Corps in Norway.

Still wear 'em occasionally, even if the grandkids call them my "Frankenstein" boots. Also have RedWings from 40 years ago (both of these purchased in larger sizes than what I was wearing previously.)

(Have dipped more than one pair of boots--incl Tony Llamas and Naconas:) in the tub to form fit those puppies to my feet, nice leather/steel shank or not.)

but they don’t feel as comfortable as Bates nor as light.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn.

They took no breaking in to be wearable for long periods of time with no discomfort.

Very chunky feeling and very comfy too - you'll feel like you can walk through anything with these on - even replicants!

Under Armour Men's Micro G Valsetz Mid Military and Tactical Boot

Super comfortable duty boots If you're going to be on your feet for long stretches, you could do a lot worse than these boots.

exterior

Work boot allowance motivated replacement, otherwise I would have worn the prior ones a lot longer, as the exterior barely showed any wear, mostly just some wear on the sole.

They are very light, like a tennis shoe or sneaker, contrasted with the steel toed leather work boots I have worn for other jobs.

The Under Armour Men's Ua Micro G Valsetz Mid Trail Running Shoe is a testament to the brand's dedication to merging style, functionality, and athletic performance.

This isn't just another trail running shoe; it's a footwear solution meticulously crafted for those who demand the best from their gear, whether they're hitting rugged trails or navigating urban terrains.

This proprietary technology ensures that runners experience optimal cushioning with every step, converting landing impact into explosive takeoffs.

The mid-rise design of the shoe offers additional ankle support, a crucial feature for trail running where uneven terrains are common.

This design ensures that runners have the stability they need, reducing the risk of ankle rolls or injuries.

This feature is especially beneficial for trail runners who often encounter varying weather conditions.

The breathability is also noteworthy; my feet stay cool and comfortable, even during intense activities.

Overall, the Under Armour Men's Micro G Valsetz Mid Military and Tactical Boots are a top-notch choice for anyone needing reliable and comfortable footwear for demanding conditions.

They are comfortable and breathe well which is a must for me.

Work boots Fit great, feel great, on my feet the majority of the day working 12 hours shifts these boots are very comfortable.

Awesome fit I’ve dealt with plantar facilitis and have gone through many insoles and numerous boots to help relieve the discomfort.

Super lightweight, very comfortable and well built.

but they're not overly tight and uncomfortable.

For hiking, mountain biking, or running, go spend the money on a pair specifically designed for those activities.

adidas Adizero Adios 6

Previous versions had a cloth upper (above the toe box) and my little toe and big toe nail would usually start rubbing through about a year in (I usually run 3 miles about 4 times a week). These have a synthetic upper and have thus far held tight ;)

thicker sole

According to various specialized show review sites, the Adios 6 was supposed to be an improvement to the 5, offering much thicker soles.

sole thin

half-size

They can run slightly short, so I would recommend going at least a half size up if you intend to run in them.

had to return/exchange

They keep your feet cool, dry quickly if you get them wet, last a long while, and don't lose their bounce.
