The small issue I have is the strap tends to expand after a while, and when you adjust them to the last hole, they fit like new again.

I worry that the straps may stretch out a bit,

I do get a little heel rubbing because the back of the insole part curves up a tiny bit rather than being completely flat.

Ordered based on age 12mo boy in 95th percentile still fits larger than expected.

I ordered them for my 5 month old and they are way too big.

but hoe bottom is very thin not for walk on roads, just in park or sand

They were really loose on my daughter, and she has pretty average sized feet.

The spot right under his big toes and the strap splits every time.

I had high hopes for the snap closure…except the closure would snap shut then come undone after she took a few steps.

This caused a lot of frustration for my daughter and I (I also made sure I pushed the snaps together as far as they would go).

Also when we received the sandals, it came packed in a box with other items and the back straps on both sandals were a little disfigured/bent/twisted.

This may have impacted why the snaps wouldn’t stay secure.

So the back straps were very uncomfortable for her as they were twisted rather than sitting flush on her heels.

With these feeling so flimsy, the disfigured back straps, and the snaps that didn’t stay securely snapped when she walked, I decided to return these.

I tried the snaps and they are difficult (or maybe it's my child).

Unfortunately, they are quite wide in the front straps that go over the foot and these are not adjustable and sit up well over my foot (this is in size 12).

For a narrower foot A-AAA these may not be your sandal.

These sandals are pricey and they came scratched in one of the front straps, if you don't return the product no one would help you, the seller didn't take responsibility and Amazon won't  help if couldn't return the sandals.

So on me these made it look like I have sausages tied with leather as feet.

I ordered these in black and liked them so much that I ordered a second pair in tan.

They would work on any width foot because you can loosen or tighten the laces.

My local Birkenstock dealer tells me that I have a “low volume foot.” It’s not narrow so much as shallow, not much meat on the bone.

however, look great and can be adjusted to fit lots of variations in foot shape and size!!

but I’m delighted to finally find something that fits, and they’ll be just fine for how I plan to wear them.
