His feet were a bit swollen, so we opted to reorder a slipper that had an adjustable closure. My advice would be to order up- he wears a 13, and his toe was practically at the tip of the slipper when I held it to the bottom of his foot (since we couldn't get it on him!)

I bought my usual size, 10.5 wide.

The fit of the boots seems a little tight, in the width, even after wearing the boots for several weeks.

A day or so after I began wearing the shoes the finish began to flake off leaving large almost white blotchy patches.

I would like to know how to fix this issue without returning the shoes because I’m required to wear steel toe shoe for work.

If I had tried these boots on in a store, I wouldn't have bought the boots, because of the extreme difficulty of getting my feet into the boots.

I suggest ordering a thick pair of socks with these shoes as like all steel toes shoes, they are cold when the temp is in the low 20's.

I am very upset that I cannot return or at least exchange this item.

The outer soles are definitely slip resistant if you are standing on grip tape or sand paper, otherwise best of luck because you are on thin ice buckoo.
