The real deal
I've been wearing editions of this boot since about 1980 (still have and wear the original pair for yard work), and terminally wore out the third pair this winter (leather cracked through).

After 9 months of heavy use, the boots are obviously well broken in and are the most comfortable I've ever had.

I have no doubt that these boots will last 5 years with this continued type of use and care.

This helped the back of the Achilles to avoid a blister, yet after a few days of soaking in mink oil the boots were very soft.

After wearing these boots for a solid week now they are by far the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned.

If you take the time to care for these boots you will love them!

I can easily wear them on all day hikes with zero problems.
