Hunter Men's Play Mid Rain Boot

If you’re expecting the Play Boot Short, like the description, you may be disappointed.

not quite as tall as Hunter's other "Short" boots.

The boots are made of natural rubber that tends to crack within a couple of years due to ozone present in atmosphere.

Updated review from June 27, 2020 (2 stars): Today one boot leaked because a tiny crack developed above the sole.

Their rely was: since I bought the boots from Amazon, not directly from hunterboots.com, the boots ARE NOT COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY, and for that reasin they will not replace them.

I am sure Amazon knows that the boots are not covered by the warranty and still sells them at the same price as Hunter Boot USA.

So now I am trying to repair the boot myself.

I am sure the other boot will fail soon too.

Buy some cheap vinyl boots instead - thy will serve longer than these boots.

Or at least shop at the manufacturer's Web site or in a store like Macy's so you have your boots covered by warranty.

Nice, Stylish Rain Boots
Unlike previous Hunter rain boots I've owned, these actually fit like size 9's.

There is nothing more useless than a rain boot.

Good fit, good quality and will hope for longevity!

Got these in 12 and they fit pretty good.

Comfortable
My son loves these they fit perfectly and are super comfortable he wears a men’s 7 ordered that size.

though I have wider than average feet of classic Greek shape, these boots fit me like a glove, unless I wear very thick socks.

Highly recommended (unless you have foot shape that does not fit the shape of these boots).

The build quality is top-notch, the looks are great too, so you can wear them in the city without risking to look like a farmer.

Comfortable and warm with the right sock.

Not to much discomfort at the end of the day.

There is no discomfort when walking, both on the pavement and on a trail.

Gorgeous , gorgeous , boots so I am very disappointed  that these are so tight on the front/instep of the foot area  & have to return them .

but wasn't keen on the fit so returned them.

but these are pretty narrow, even for me-which is probably my only issue with them.

If you have wide feet and wide calves as I  do then I would probably advise against these.

You certainly couldn't wear these with thick welly socks.

I usually wear a 6.5 US so I ordered a 7, one heel rubs on the back after wearing them for the whole day

If I had more time before my trip, I would probably look into trading them in, for a size up.

She said they are fantastic, so comfortable and the packaging was great 10/10!

Also, I ordered these on the afternoon of the 17th July and they arrived late morning on the 19th July under super saver delivery so excellent delivery too!

They're surprisingly comfortable for rain boots, very sturdy!

I love how these look; as their description states, they're more refined and not as clunky as other rain boots.

I usually wear dark denim or black leggings so the colour of the boots really compliment this.

I ordered up a size since I have a bunion and need just a tad extra width on one foot.

I bought them in size 9, and I would say they're true to their size.

I much prefer standard welly boots, with the wider, rounder, clumpier toe, and when I saw that these were 'Hunter Original' I mistakenly thought they would be the traditional wellies that Hunter used to make.

These were too wide and had to return them.

Naturally of course, Timb will kill this line and make something I don't like.

Way lighter, cooler and more comfortable than the 4 inch chukka version of the classic 6 inch Premium waterproof boot.

I agree with an earlier comment; this is one of the best boots Timb ever made.

This boot will just get better over time.

I dont like liars.

These are NOT Met Guard boots for 1, despite the tag saying other wise.

The supposed met guard is a narrow flimsy thing that wouldnt protect you from a gnats foot.

There is absolutely no metatarsal protection at all.

Do not buy these if you are needing metatarsal protection.

Metguard boots
Great boots with soft metguard that doesn't hurt your feet ,I won buy another pair when I need it.

They are nice boots if your only getting them for the looks.

I've been wearing these boots for years and they don't make anything better.
