The Giro's are undoubtedly more comfortable, light and form fitting than the Kursk, without sacrificing strength when dropping the hammer.

but when I did receive the shoes I pulled them out the box I realized I had ordered the wrong size so they were quick about getting me the right size and I was happy for that and I actually had a chance to try them on and I think they're pretty comfortable and I like them I'm happy with this product

I bought a pair of new genuine Shimano cleats and they fit well.


Fits excellently, great style, fits the Shimano pedals perfectly, they feel great walking around in, not too stiff and are stiff enough for excellent pedal power

The good is you can get a nice custom fit.

They are very airy, so having purchased and started wearing them in 20°F weather was rather cold, they are compatible with both shoe covers I own (Giro and Gore).

I am on my second pair of these shoes and I am likely to buy a third when I need to.

Soles are robust, thus can be a little slippery on wet surfaces.

but it’s slightly looser on my foot than I’d like, with the heel sliding around slightly (probably not a problem though except for maybe super long hikes).

The only reason it is 4 stars, is the shoelaces, that was a let-down from the beginning, I do not know why they put cheaper shoelaces on it that are too slippery .

Here in the Southern Appalachians, wet, mossy, and slick surfaces are ubiquitous and these shoes stick like glue on wet inclines.

About the biggest criticism I'd say about the Sawtooths is their soles could more lasting in terms of wear - if you wear them frequently, they don't unfortunately last much beyond a year, which I considered detracting at the price point for their shoes.

but they were too narrow on my left foot.

Biggest criticism, and it isn't much of one, is that they really aren't designed (appearance wise) for "around town" use.

I think the reviews were correct: medium width (D) is narrow.

But with these, size 11 was too small (too narrow mostly), 11.5 was slightly too big (too long).

They are comfortable and the foot bed is more ridged than the vasque walking shoes I was using, so when I step on a stone, its not uncomfortable.

This shoe is my every day shoe for a year now, it is very comfortable and capable - I could go hike and I can walk any distance in the city without any discomfort .

I was also surprised at how comfortable the shoes are to walk in right out of the box.

They fit true to form and are quite comfortable, particularly on hiking trails.

They are comfortable, still look good, and the heels and soles show almost no wear.

These are as comfortable as running shoes or Allbirds.

but hella comfortable
These have become my go-to hikers, and with a black friday sale, just couldn't say no to my 4th pair (wore out 2 already).

Like almost every Oboz I've tried, this is a comfortable, well-made shoe that is reliably waterproof.

WHAT I LIKE: ➠ Good level of waterproofness for walking through puddles, in the rain, etc.

I mostly wear these around the city (Vancouver, a very wet city) and for light hiking on local trails, and can easily walk through puddles and mud with my feet staying perfectly dry.

I had some other Oboz models before and new they are a good fit.

The sawtooths fit perfectly right out of the box and I was glad to discover the same relatively stiff insole like my last pair.

Tore after 5 months
I've had these shoes for not even 5 months and they already tore.

The sole is peeling, the scuffs seem to love permanent.

They are very thin more like thick socks with the no slip treads on the bottom.

but it seems like it would be better than the really cheap flip-flops I bring for travel to wear in the hotel room since they would at least take up less space in luggage Worse than socks: - They don't fit as snugly as socks, so even though wearing them with the back under the heel is an option, when I wear them like this, it's loose enough, that it sometimes feels like it's slipping off my feet when I'm walking around - The inner sole is not breathable, so it makes my feet sweat pretty soon after I start wearing them even when it's cold.

could just be a problem for people like me that tend to have a warmer skin temperature - The inner soles are completely flat, so when walking, it feels odd to have that gap between my arches and the soles They seemed interesting enough, so I thought I'd give them a try,

More Like Socks
These felt more like socks or foot coverings of some sort rather than slippers.

The slippers are slightly loose and I . .

Something about the way it's made forces my foot to live all the way at the very front of the slipper.

I cannot - CANNOT - force the slipper to stay better aligned on my foot.

As snug as that makes the slippers across my toes, I have doubts about my hope of layering extra-thick socks inside.

I didn't not like them and didn't wear them more than a few hours to try them out.

The material is similar to neoprene and my feet tend to get a little hot and sweaty when wearing them for any length of time.

but I wouldn't wear them to go anywhere or walk off concrete, just too thin.

2.5/5 stars At $15 at time of order, I don't think these are really worth it.

I hoped they'd be slightly loose on me so I'd be able to layer extra-thick socks inside on bitterly cold days, without making them too tight.

I wear a 7 and ordered a 7 and at the end of the day my feet feel a little pinched.

I saw all of these reviews stating how they are “clown shoes“ and sized way too big, and that we need to order a size down.

So that’s what I initially ordered, and it was WAY too small.

moral of the story, expect to order a size, try on, then return for the correct one, because apparently the sizing on these is all over the place.

Unfortunately they don't have the color I ordered anymore, so I have to play the waiting game.

I checked the size chart, which had wrong measurements btw, so I decided to read reviews.

I ordered my size 7, they fit as expected.

They gave me a free pair of inserts with my order  in case they were a little big.

Very nice shoe, pretty, soft flexible upper; I bought the purple, and it's a lovely soft lilac color.

The only drawback was its grip—during rainy weather, it felt slippery.

If you don’t size down, your feet may slide out of the shoe.

however, maybe with a slippery sock it would be better.

Runs big and quality issues
Size down .5 size because these run big.

Due to the opening being so small, the shoe grabs your sock and pulls it while trying to get the shoe on.

This results in your sock becoming extremely tight on your toes.

but then the opening of the shoe causes pain at the ankle because there’s no cushion between the shoe and your skin.

So it's not easy to wear and one of the ankles hurts as the elastic rubs on the knuckle.

I purchased mine last year and used it during a trip to NYC in November 2022; it held up well as we walked around 10k steps a day without causing discomfort in my feet.

I will say they felt comfortable while walking on my area rug to try them out.

I'm a bit confused by the negative reviews.

I also brought it to Ireland last January, where it remained comfortable.

I’m still trying to figure this out because, the one time I was able to wiggle my toes enough to loosen the sock, these were dang comfortable!

They hold up as a solid 3 season weather shoe and I highly recommend this style and brand as a whole!
