Love this pair of Rocket Dog Corduroy Shoe!!

I have dogs in one area and cats in another and am able to walk without disturbing anyone.

I just might to purchase another pair as they are super comfortable and the soles are thick, not flimsy and low like other shoes.

It might have been better for wearing outside if the insole was left as foam with some sort of texture to help keep your foot in place.

* Machine Washable Cons: * Too small - I got a medium (9-10) and I wear a size 10.

* Insole fabric I think will wear out pretty fast if you wear these on the daily and use them as outdoor slides.

Plus I think it will trap smells more if you don't wear socks.

but over-time like most memory-foam insoles they’ll likely flatten and become less comfortable; I know from personal experience wearing other shoes from this brand that this ends up happening with frequent use over time.

but that could be because these are just too small for my feet so it's jammed in there.

It was definitely too small for me as you can see in the picture.

It's made of a semi-hard plastic, and just doesn't feel good or conform to the shape of your foot at all.

-The top material feels like stiff plastic.

There is only about a 1/4" of memory foam which is not enough especially since it's just hard plastic rubber underneath.

Despite being a size 10 they fit very snug around his feet and I realized it would have been better to size up to Large (11-12) in this case for this product.

As a result sometimes he has trouble getting them on and taking them off when switching rooms - it’s definitely not a smooth fit.

If you’re considering getting these you should consider sizing up for a better and more comfortable fit.

but I think the "velvet" cushion insole material would probably get pretty dirty and stinky from the sweat from your foot.

The too-thin fleece covering doesn't help much.

Squishy Soled Slides
These soft and squishy slides are good for shuffling around the house, or doing brief errands like taking out the dogs, getting the mail, or throwing them on for the school run when you know you won't get out of the car.

But then again that comfy and warm insole is what Dearfoams are known for.

The memory insoles however are comfy and cushy,

Yes, I'm a camo pattern fan and these look really nice the gray/black colorway.

* Some of the slide is made form recycled material which is always a huge plus for any product you buy.

If you can catch these on sale somewhere, I think it's a good purchase for the camo pattern fans as long as you get the right size.

* The insoles are nice and comfy for the short try on period.

You can feel the airy type cushion if you use your fingers to push on the insole.

* The outer sole has some texture on it as well to help keep you from slipping.

And due to the thickness of the bottoms they add a considerable height-boost to anyone wearing them.

Not the most attractive things, these are definitely comfortable, with a soft padded and cozy footbed and giving foam strap and sole.

I can only use these if I have a certain pair/ style of socks available otherwise they are too painful

but the tops were painful after wearing them for about 15 minutes around the house.

I have high arches and by hour 5 of sitting, the top of my foot was ACHING.

The tops were very tight, so if you have high arches, the tops are hurt the top of your feet.

The second reason was that the high heel pad on the shoe hit my achilles with every step and made my achilles sore to the touch.

I REALLY wanted to like this shoe, because the sole is a DREAM.

It takes more time to get these on, so I don't wear them as much as I had hoped to.

Several reviews said these would not be good for people with wide feet, which made me a bit nervous as my feet are a solid medium-large in width,

I had to give them a pretty hard yank to get them on past the narrow part at the ankle, which made me wish they had just gone with a side zipper as I felt like the back zipper didn't really loosen this area at all,

The footbed is comfortable as with other Merrell footwear I own.

These boot make any pair of jean pop-out, boots are not super warm and I don't think these particular style is even waterproof.

They are the comfiest boots I have ever owned and I have walked approximately 4-5 miles every day in them with the dogs on the farm where I live.

Comfortable insoles and not heavy and weighted down feeling on your feet.

So yes, I love these boots and will continue buying them as long as Timberland make them.
