sizing

The only problem with this company is their sizing is not consistent.

The short version is, Hey Dude’s sizing is not consistent between different models / styles.

I ordered a 13 because other models fit, and had to return for a 12 in this model.

Originally, I ordered a size 12 because that is the size of Hey Dude’s “Wally” shoe that fit me and  in the Cody it was too big.

width

To reduce any confusion, lengths are all going to be expressed in 1/16th inch increments rather than simplified (mm are also provided) and measurements are taken at the longest/widest point to point, only the very back of the forefoot section as wide as listed, it tapers tighter quite quickly.

I also personally pull the cork arch piece off of those insoles, that part is a little too uncomfortable for me.

Add in all the extra material crammed into the forefoot just behind the toe box where the tongue and eyelet bars meet up and are stitched and it's quite tight.

dr-scholl's

I recommend the Dr Scholl's eco friendly cushioning insoles, they're (relatively) cheap and comfortable despite being really thin, they also actually available in size 14.

I love this shoe.

I have three other Hey Dude shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I have had in years.

So I've had 2 pairs of Wally's, both size 14, they fit great.

I require special insoles because of my high arches and heal pain and they fit in the shoe perfectly.

I sent it back and ordered an 11, which is my normal size, and it was perfect.

Shoes with too much arch support literally bruise the bottoms of my feet.

I bought these shoes looking for decent arch support.

but I had a pair of the regular Dr. Scholl's for women and those fit.

Fit true to size
After knee replacement these have been my go to shoe.

Because of my flat feet I get severe foot cramps if I wear the wrong shoes, and I have never had that with these.

Based on the reviews I read I went half a size up (I’m an 8 1/2 so I went 9) and they seemed two sizes too big.

Couldn’t even make them work with thicker socks so had to return them.

The Twisted brand  shoes were way too small and tight, so I returned them right away and didn't bother to reorder.

Very narrow and doesn't break it well like other canvas shoe very hard and plastic like

The Airwalks also started coming apart on the side, where the rubber meets the canvas, after only a few months of casual wear.

I've only had them for about 2 months and have worn them every other day or so and I've worn holes in the canvas at the back of each shoe on the inside.

but a bit too narrow, so after wearing them a while they would start to pinch and hurt.

Definitely NOT everyday shoes because they’re coming apart a bit on the sides and have been worn seldom.

but after putting in a Dr.Scholl's insert, they fit perfect.

Its true to size true color and true to the material its perfect for me.

These shoe seem well made, and they're very comfortable.

Look a lot like converse and pretty comfortable too.

I'm an 8.5 and I got a 9 and they fit very well.

Don't wash them
They were good until I washed them.

After the first wash (washing machine with cold water and mild detergent),  the side soles came loose.

They would roll up, every time you wore them,  Finally, after two or three times wearing them, the inside soles just came out.

The sole is thin, like you would find on a womans slipper.

The "shoe" is narrow and short for its size.

I bought these to use as house shoes, and they do the job just fine.

And the strap down the middle of the foot shifts to the side while I'm wearing it.

The straps near the toes are little tight,

These shoes were heavy and the imitation leather straps looked very synthetic.

Do not work well for narrow feet

Stiff
The sandal uppers were VERY stiff and chafed my foot in the minute (or less) that I had them on. Returned.

They were too big for me, so I returned them and therefore cannot comment about their comfort level.

I've been buying Dr. Scholl's shoes and products for years and have always been happy with them.

Very disappointed in the purchase of Dr. Scholls Max zipper Sneakers.

Will never purchase again from shoe Station.

Think twice before you buy these especially if they’re from shoe Station.

The thing I didn't like about this product is the way it arrived to me.

but for my average width foot they run too narrow.

If you tend toward wide feet, these will likely not work for you.

Can only wear them a short time before they hurt.
