Received a returned product
The shoes were in perfect condition when I received them

but fit much smaller than my usual Doc Martens size. Returned.

So I’m taking off two stars and returning.

The box was not Dr. Marten’s and had on there a sign that said “small” for I don’t know what reason; 3.

Box wasn’t packaged well so arrived damaged,

Not what I expected
The toe box for this pair, is like that narrow round toe and NOT the round toe.

but high arch and the shoe just doesn't fit.

Also good heel cushioning offered by the soles while driving as I am also in traffic for up to 2 hrs a day round trip.

I had a previous pair of basic Dr. Marten oxfords that were made of synthetic leather, and they were quite comfortable and broke in very quickly.

However, these are breaking in and are getting more comfortable every day- I think they will be fine in the long run.

Unfortunately the velcro straps do NOT adjust down small enough for a narrow foot.

but the design only allows for a certain amount of adjusting and then the buckle stops you.

I compared it to another DM sandal in the same size, and these are maybe 1/2inch longer.

"Fit as Expected" means they fit 'cause I expected them to be a size too large
As always, these ran a size too large, as Doc Martens do.

The Size 7 were so big my feet were swimming in them.

Boots arrived on time and they fit fine like the previous 6 pair of Martens I've had.

Soft on the top of my foot so didn't rub scars,or where hardware was placed, and a thick sturdy sole that was very supportive.

There was a seam across the top of my foot at the base where the tongue was sewn on that made the boots very painful to wear.

but they are tight on top between my toes and the laces.

They never come in half sizes so they either are a little too big or a little too small.

I threw a pair of memory foam inserts in them to speed up the break in process, and they are super comfy.

The boots have now accepted me as their master, and welcome my humble feet like an old friend.

I love them, they are the most comfortable boots to .

On all other points these boots look to be genuine.

Either way, I love them, they are the most comfortable boots to wear.

I usually wear a 9.5 (occasionally a 10 if the shoe runs a tad small) and I downsized to a 9 based on others' reviews and it was a great decision- they fit perfectly.
