Size they run a little big and I would have returned for a regular instead of wide if I didn't need new boots immediately because my old boots had come apart.

If they would account for the composite toe and made the sizes true after the toe it would be perfect.

COMFORT
THE FIT: runs small because of the composite toe; a 7 1/2 is my "perfect" fit and 7 1/2 in these boots was too small with my toes touching so I had to get an 8 which is now much too big.

I'm not wearing the right size because they're sizing for a regular boot and then adding the toe instead of making the boot just a little bigger so the size is a true fit.

but after wearing them for a while the leather has broken in.

So even tho I don't expect to get a full refund because I did wear them for two weeks - I'm sending back because I wear my work-boots 45-60 hours a week and they need to keep my feet dry.

A downside to these were i got them completely submerged in water one day (but my feet where dry).

Bad: really disappointed they're not even close to waterproof.

After i let then dry for 2 days i noticed the heal fits larger and i squeak whenever my heal hits the heal inner counter of the boot.

To accomplish that I purchased a pair Dr. Scholl's Custom Fit Orthotics at Walmart for all of my boots and now I can go all day in these boots without foot fatigue.

Add the Dr. Scholl's and I go wear these all day without foot fatigue.

Great: They had great arch support and comfy soles all around.

However, after trying some standard solutions (2 days in box with lots of newspaper, brush with white vinegar, leave outside), the smell has not abated - they've basically been outside in the yard for over 3 weeks straight.

Biggest negative for me is the buckles, ratcheting buckles would be so much better, I’d pay more for them, it’s what’s keeping these from being perfect boots in my opinion.

Some QC would help - if a pair is so pungent it can be smelled 10 ft away (as was the case for these out of the box) they probably shouldn't be sold. So be prepared to send them back rather than try to deal with it (note the first pair had no smell so it's somewhat luck of the draw)

but I added Dr. Scholl's Inserts, which fit perfectly with no trimming and feels so comfortable.

They sole is relatively thin and flexible, they are not stiff like mountain climbing boots, good for comfort and limited walking, these are not moto-X boots, they are great comfortable riding boots.

Thin tread on the sole gives traction without excessive clogging with mud.

It is very comfortable for short and long rides.

They are 100% real leather, no plastic, so that means they break in exceptionally well as only leather can, they stretch to fit your feet perfectly, very comfortable boots They are soft and comfortable,

However, considering the price, they are an exceptional value, very well constructed and comfortable with high quality leather and seems as if they will last a long time.

These are very soft and comfortable right out of the box, at least to me.

These boots are light, comfortable, and seem well made so far.

I wear thick wool socks as well, which helped to make boot fit better.

Poor quality leather never becomes comfortable
I had previously owned older versions of these boots and they were comfortable enough.

These new ones have very stiff leather that never really breaks in and becomes comfortable.

If it were a thicker leather, I might be a little concerned,

but I'm actually a little surprised there's not more creasing with leather this thin.

They have literally zero arch support, so if you have high arches like I do, these shoes are not the most comfortable around.

Other than the arch support issue, my only other complaint has been the laces; It's like they coated them with teflon or something, as they're impossible to keep tied unless you double-knot them.

However, I bought some Dr. Scholl's gel arch supports and put them in, and now I absolutely love these boots!

On the other hand, this is still a sewn sole which is great for durability even if you don't resole later (but you could).

The cloth insole is great for barefoot use and fairly comfortable,

The camp sole is a bit softer than boat soles for comfort

But the memory foam is comfortable and I love how this boot feels.

Finally decided on the boots because the price dropped making them cheaper than the shoes!

I wear these boots almost every day for general purpose use.

These DO have space over the tongue between the two side pieces (with the eyelets), so I get a better feeling of lacing them up snugly.

I wear womens 9-9.5, ordered size 7.5 and they fit great.

These shoes will slip if there is the slightest bit of water or oil underfoot.

So, if you work in, say, a hospital or restaurant, you might be slipping and falling a lot, unless you are mighty careful.

If you try walking around on any unpaved surface, you will feel every pebble you step on.

Sometimes the feet, calves and knees, even the hips, need to go through an adjustment period with some discomfort as they rearrange themselves.

They are not super supportive as they are supposed to train your feet to be stronger so don’t expect that because the shoe isn’t made to be supportive for that very reason.

Then if I want to wear toe separators, there's plenty of room and then also for my inserts, Dr Scholl's gel insoles for flats.

The insole gives a little cushion which is nice as someone who is in the early months of transitioning to barefoot shoes.

The soles are extra grippy, and the insole is thin, with a tiny bit of cushion which is nice if you’re standing on hard flooring all day.

These shoes are the first pair that actually fit and are comfortable.

But I tried them on, and they fit, and were comfortable.

but they are very comfortable “run around in the city” shoes.

The price was right and they are comfortable.

Great minimalist shoes with room for wide toes
I really like these shoes because they are one of the only brands (barefoot and not) that have enough room for my toes and don’t slope off to quickly like others do.

but I got them as stater barefoot shoe and now I’m hooked!

Whether you’re experienced with barefoot shoes, or looking to try some out, I definitely recommend having a pair of these!

These are the only shoes she likes to wear to school because of how comfy they are.

I was so happy to find that the Kid's toms 3.5 fit comfortably.

They are beautiful, and comfortable and have gotten so many compliments on them.


But I like the shoe -- it's very comfortable and and I like the color and material, and it feels good to support such a cause.

Returned this item because the fit is too small.

It can create somewhat odd pinch feelings in small sections while walking,

Considering it was only on the right boot, it was probably just a small defect with the pair I got.

(Side note, they aren't SUPER wide so if you have normal feet like me, just order the next size up if you're a half size and they should fit just fine with thick wool socks.)

I noticed that there were a great deal of reports saying that these boots run wide.

Sad thing, I noticed there weren't really any TALL snow boots available in anything other than "D" width.

EDIT: I wound up having to return mine, because as it turns out, the odd molding for the rubber on the right boot did cause discomfort in the long run.

So I stuck some Dr. Scholl's pads under the lining, and now, they're great.

but the sole has no foam parts, thus gets cool quicker than say a sneaker would.

These boots are my go-to for lots of snow in the winter.

I ordered 5 or 6 pairs of boots and this is 1 of 2 I decided to stick with due to the style, fit, comfort, and materials/waterproofing.

What I can say is, I normally wear 3 or 4e, and these boots wound up fitting PERFECTLY!

They were still some pretty great boots, otherwise.

I highly recommend these boots to other people.

They're very comfortable, warm, waterproof, etc.

but nothing that seems like it would cause any soreness or pain in the long run, so, they feel comfortable enough.

They are very easy to dry out and such if you get the liner wet and they are incredibly warm.

I do not regret my decision to purchase these and you won't too.

I am normally UK 8, so ordered a UK 9 as Rylas come up small.

The only issue I have is the insole which is 1/4 to 1/2 inch to short at toe tip on size 11 shoes: so unpleasant rubbing.

but one foot bigger than the other, so returned.

I put my Dr. Scholl's insole in them and they work perfect.

I normally wear an 8 in almost everything, and the 8 was too small in length and really tight even with thin socks, and I do not have wide feet.

Not great for plantar fasciitis ❌Leather immediately creased real bad from the first few min ❌Feels narrow because leather has no give.

Wide is only marked as wide on the box not the shoe tag.

I bought the 11; a10.5 would have been a better fit for me, a 10 probably too small.
