Proper Support
Because of my Neurotrophy in my foot Dr. Scholl's is the only brand of shoe that I can wear comfortably.

No arch support and they way they fit I don't think insoles can be purchased/ inserted to improve that.

I have relatively flat feet and my arches were complaining immediately.

Despite having low arches, the shoe would have a crease appear on top when worn, even if not bending or walking.

It is April now, and the new pair is already worn out.

Appearance wise, you won't get asked out on a date if you're seen wearing them.

The top rim of my heel area has worn out as well as some of the inside of the shoe where my feet are encased.

That section has worn a hole completely through and formed a small hole.

I noticed a few plastic like pieces falling out on the inside of my shoe recently.

Also the leather is a thin sheet stretched over a fiber cushion, similar to cheap leather furniture.

Super comfy with a Dr. Scholl's insert and I didn't have to get them larger than my normal sneaker size to get everything to fit.

I usually wear 11 1/2 for sneakers and the 11 fit me perfectly.Theses are super comfortable and sturdy and the shiny top layer does not crack or peel off like Emeril Lagasse shoes that I purchased for $79.00 and threw away after 1 month….Highly recommend for fellow chefs!

Very functional; Very happy
I have been using these shoes since I first bought them about a month ago in an industrial sized kitchen working 10 hour days.

Everyone at work noticed my new shoes and seemed interested in purchasing a pair of their own.

+++  Style/Design +++  Grip ++  Comfort ++  Foot protection +  I can't think of anything bad to say about them 5/5 I would definitely buy these again depending on the life of the shoe's soles.

These may hold their own against a slippery floor or two in a hospital or kitchen setting.

They perform excellently on slippery surfaces.

I even purposefully tried to slip when we washed the floor and I didn't even glide a cm.

The top is indeed easy to clean and I like the clog style because I can slip my foot out for a few seconds and cool off my feet without making a big deal of it.

They don't slip even on greasy and wet tile floors, or on cooked potatoes, or on lettuce, or on bleu cheese.

Still a very comfy shoe with great slip protection for the price.

The upper is stiff and durable and could deflect a dropped knife.

Seams on the tongue of one boot split and frayed in several places.

After extended kneeling the stitches busted on the top of the boot, so I used shoe goo to repair that.


Considering these shoes were supposed to be an extra wide, they are tight and will need a lot of breaking in, also for something that was sold as new it had small scuff marks on the toe area of the right shoe.

Most alarming tho was the soles of both seperating from the leather;  it’s as if they used water soluble glue.

the wierd little toe pad started peeling away from the boot after a few months so I just cut it off.

It doesn't matter how much I spend on shoes, boots, etc., they always hurt.

The width may not be as wide as advertised.

I have a "WIDE" foot, these don't feel like "EXTRA WIDE" as advertised.


I have trouble believing these are really size 10 and it is IMPOSSIBLE they are extra wide.

The ankle and tongue are heavily padded, the laces stay tied, and the arches provide enough support so I don't need Dr Scholl's inserts.

The wide size fits great, I normally wear a 9.5 4e new balance sneaker, I got these in 10 extra wide.

I was surprised at how light and comfortable these were!

He told me that he received Bates boots while on the ground in Iraq and that they were the best he had ever worn - comfortable, lighweight and sturdy.

I have not added any insoles (usually the first thing I need to do when I get a new pair of footwear), and they are just as comfortable today as they were on the first day.

Light, comfortable, held up well to abuse.

So I ordered these, and much to my surprise they fit and felt comfortable.

The synthetic PU leather is very supple, hence the shoes are so comfortable right out of the box.

Great Boot
I bought these based on a discussion with a friend that had been in the US Army.

When these boots die next year, I'll probably get a 3rd pair.

These boots looked like they would provide much better protection than tennis or walking shoes and I didn't want a pair of clod-hopper leather Frankenstein boots that weigh as much as cinder blocks.

Bottom line,,, so far these boots are great.

I was looking for a boot that would keep my feet cool in the California and Texas summer - these will do it.

I like these boots so much that I'll order a second set - because I've learned that it'll be hard to find a similar pair when the first ones finally wear out.

I have had them for a little over a month and have worn them every day.

I take a 9.5E, and these don''t squeeze my feet, even with thick socks worn underneath (that's the Number One reason I return shoes).

Based on the reviews I read I went half a size up (I’m an 8 1/2 so I went 9) and they seemed two sizes too big.

Couldn’t even make them work with thicker socks so had to return them.

The Twisted brand  shoes were way too small and tight, so I returned them right away and didn't bother to reorder.

Very narrow and doesn't break it well like other canvas shoe very hard and plastic like

The Airwalks also started coming apart on the side, where the rubber meets the canvas, after only a few months of casual wear.

I've only had them for about 2 months and have worn them every other day or so and I've worn holes in the canvas at the back of each shoe on the inside.

but a bit too narrow, so after wearing them a while they would start to pinch and hurt.

Definitely NOT everyday shoes because they’re coming apart a bit on the sides and have been worn seldom.

but after putting in a Dr.Scholl's insert, they fit perfect.

These shoe seem well made, and they're very comfortable.

Look a lot like converse and pretty comfortable too.

Dr. Scholl's Women's Friendly Ballet Flat

I ordered these in 7W and, unfortunately, they were both too narrow (the toe-box pinched) and one of the shoes pinched length-wise as well.

but I am glad I got the wider width because I still had some pinching on the sides at the widest part of my foot.

I also have a very narrow foot, and while the left shoe fits length-wise better, it seems a little wide through the arch area.

I wear a 7 1/2 Wide shoe.

The insole isn't removable so I can't put my own arch supports in. Disappointing.

but with some issues for my own foot
I work as a substitute teacher, and I am 5'10", so I wear a LOT of comfortable flats.

I felt like I was wearing much larger shoes.

If I have to wear them for moderate walking somewhere, I think I'll try wadding up something to fill in the space where the toes should go toward the tip.

but the pair (beige) I wear on a regular basis, the insole is coming apart at the toe.

The size was too small when I received it, and so I used Amazon's return program for the first time and discovered that it is everything as it states.

I have had several pairs of a different style Dr Scholls flat sneakers, and loved those (Jennie) in size 7.5 normal width,

These are cute and relatively comfortable.
